I would give this zero stars if I could.
When we were seated, a server came and said they would be taking our order. She left and then another server came and said she would be taking our order. They both then disappeared for a good chunk of time.
When one returned to take our order, we had to clarify what we wanted multiple times because she repeated it back to us incorrectly. She also told us several times she did not know how to use the ordering system. We waited a long time for our food. During that time, our server returned multiple times to double check our order. Each time, she had our orders wrong. She also came out multiple times to tell us different orders for our table never got put in and to ask if we would mind waiting if she put it in again. She kept getting our orders wrong and telling us "there's something wrong in the kitchen" or "I don't understand the computer."
At one point, she said she would put our orders in right away and get a manager. Over fifteen minutes later, we realized our server had disappeared and asked another server if we could speak to someone.
We spoke with a manager who said she didn't really know what she could do other than putting the orders in. To be fair, they did ultimately comp our bill which was appreciated. It took us over an hour from ordering to get each person's order.
The firsr order to arrive was correct but the meat was overcooked and burned in parts. The next order was incorrect. The next order was correct. Our last two orders to arrive were correct but of poor quality. One was a salad that mainly consisted of white or wilted lettuce in huge chunks. It was essentially chunks of lettuce that should have been thrown out with a few good pieces on the top hiding them. The other was a mushroom Swiss hamburger that was over cooked with a hard crust on the outside and a cold, overcooked middle. The mushrooms were three or four charred mushroom pieces. If they were hurrying, it is harder to get everything right, but this food was just very bad.
While we were there we saw three tables leave because they did not get their food after a long time and were told the order was lost. Another table had the same issues we did. The restaurant was only half full, so it was not busy.
The bathrooms and floors were in need of a cleaning.
It is clear that there are operational issues, both in what we experienced and employees saying the issue rested elsewhere (there's something wrong in the kitchen, I didn't know you needed anything, the other manager/server was supposed to take care of this but they got busy, they didn't teach us how to use the computer, the order didn't get put in, the kitchen lost the order) and being unwilling or unauthorized to problem solve. It seems like a bad situation that sets employees up to fail and sets customers up for a bad experience.
We had not been to a Chili's in years and now know we do not...
Read moreI just want to start off by saying I love Chili’s or use to love Chili’s. It’s been one of my favorite restaurants in general, but I’ll probably never go to another one any time soon. Came to this location with my family the other night and it was probably one of the worst dine in experiences of my life. We ordered 3 meals in total and the first two were brought out 15 minutes apart from one another. The last meal wasn’t even brought out, and wasn’t given to us until about an hour after we placed the order. My meal was brought first and it was also had the wrong food. I asked for the big mouth bites but was given cheese curds. The waitress said that was what I ordered. The way things were going already, I wasn’t going to make a big deal about it. After two of us finally had our meals, we were still waiting on a pasta and were told it was delayed because of Garlic Bread. 20 minutes later, we brought it up to the waitress and she said that she forgot about it and said they would remake it because it was just sitting in the kitchen. So we had to wait another 15 minutes for the pasta that finally came out to us but in a to go container. It was about half the portion you would normally get. The waitress said that she would comp the pasta but she just summed up her mistakes to being new. Not really apologetic for what happened. The Manager did come over and I explained what happened and she took care of the meal, but overall it just seemed like no one at Chili’s really felt bad for what happened to my family and I. No one really took the blame and responsibility for the bad service we received and they instead blamed it on others. The Manager said they were short handed, and I get it. It happens, but at the same time your the manager. Take responsibility for what happened and don’t blame your cooks and staff. You’re the top of the line and your staff is a reflection of your leadership. The store was also at limited capacity, so I’m even more shocked that it took as long as it did to bring us our food. Honestly, the manager should’ve adapted to the situation and moved staff around so they weren’t short handed or have one of the hostesses that are just standing around help assist your waiting staff. Overall, it was a horrible experience at Chili’s, and I’m not planning to make any trips back...

My wife and I were an hour away from home, and we decided to go to the Bloomingdale Chilis for lunch. Wrong choice!
We were “greeted” with a huff and puff and an eye roll when I was asked if I wanted to be seated in the dark dungeon of a corner that nobody was sitter in, and I said, “No.”
After my wife and I were seated, we ordered our drinks, as well as Chips & Salsa, that never even arrived.
Our server came back within a minute or two to complain about a $400 order that was placed, only to try and very unprofessionally hurry my wife through her order.
My wife was upset about this, so I asked for another server.
The General Manager then came over and asked if we wanted to move to another section.
At this point, my wife made the decision to leave. Meanwhile, I stayed back to ask for the manager, as I didn’t know the person who asked if we wanted to move, was a manager since she never introduced herself as such.
When I stated that I wanted the manager, she said, “I am the manager.” I then began telling her how atrocious the service was, when the server came by and overheard and very unprofessionally acted up asking how her service was rude, and then the server became even more unprofessional as she was clapping her hands and saying that she was going to “come at me.”
I then told her that I would have her F’ng job by the end of the day, only to have the General Manager threaten to call the cops on me and tell me that I had to leave, despite her employee threatening me. I should have called the cops myself.
I then told the General Manager that I wanted her name and the server’s name, only for the General Manager to rudely say, “You can take my business card,” and then stated that she was not going to reveal her employee’s name.
I am leaving this poor review in regards to even poorer service. This is not how to treat your customers, and if it is the way you do, then I feel an obligation to forewarn others to STAY FAR AWAY from this trashy service!
My wife and I left and went a couple minutes down the road and received much...
