First off, I love Chipotle, so keep that in mind when you read this review. This location has consistently been the worst Chipotle I ever visit. Yesterday's was probably the last time I'll go to this location. I just can't deal with their quality of service anymore. I'll drive an extra 15 min to a different location.
I ordered a bowl and a burrito. Nothing super complicated. It took 4 time repeating that I wanted white rice before the girl could hear me. I'm not a quiet person, but the music here is always so loud that the employees can't hear the customers. That's just dumb and such a simple fix. I've complained about it before, but they don't care.
Second, the meat that I ordered for the bowl and burrito was almost out. Again, simple solution, turn around and get more. Instead they put an average amount of meat on the bowl and then put less meat on the burrito than Taco Bell puts on a $1 special. I thought they were just finishing up that batch and going to get more, but they just slid it along and ask what other toppings I wanted. I said that I wanted the appropriate amount of meat and they scraped the bottom of that bin for a solid 30 seconds fishing out tiny strand after strand of the beef. Still, nothing fresh even requested.
Finally, they wrapped the burrito and it broke. Yea, this happens and I'm not worried. I told the girl that she could just double wrap it. Her response "no it ripped". Again I assume she couldn't hear a thing I was saying over the music since that response makes no sense at all. When she dumped the contents of my burrito into the new tortilla it was a hot mess. Most of the sour cream and about 1/4 of the meat that they had struggled to find for me was still stuck to the old wrapper when they threw it away. The girl at the cash register saw my disgust throughout the whole process and apologized for my experience which is the only reason this isn't a one star review.
Here's the thing. If a fast food place is swamped with a line out the door and they have a hard time hearing over all of the customer noise and get flustered, I'm not going to give them a hard time. That's normal. There were 2 people in front of me and 1 behind me. The seating area is really small, but it was only 1/3 full. This experience is caused by two simple things. First they have the music way too loud to be able to function properly. I'm not the only person to have complained about this and I doubt I will be the last. I don't mind the music, but I do mind that you can't function and interact with the customers because of the music. Second, the staff is completely and totally careless. Whoever runs this place needs to train their staff to at least act like they care about the customer's experience. These folks (apart from the cashier) could not possibly care less. Take a page from Chick-fil-A's book and at least act like you care about...
Read moreI work for UberEats and DoorDash and every time I come here after 8pm for the past 2-3 months the person stops working on to-go orders at the to-go order station and the only person working on to-go orders is the person serving walk-in customers at the counter. It’s Thursday, Feb 10 8:30pm. The guy behind the counter will continually serve walk-in person after walk-in person. I asked him if he was completing the to-go orders now since the girl at the to-go station had closed her station and was cleaning. He said he was doing the best he could. This is wasted time that I could be completing other deliveries. It was clear that myself and other delivery drivers were becoming impatient but they don’t care. I had waited 20 minutes before I left and they still hadn’t started on my order. And no, this isn’t the first time this has happened. I used to only accept orders here during the week because if you think a Thursday night as bad, imagine picking up on Friday Saturday or Sunday.
Update: It’s the next day, feb 11. I come in at 9 pm and all the staff are different from the previous night. However, I walk in and tell the guy I have a DoorDash pick up and I told him how I waited 20 minutes yesterday and still didn’t leave with my order. He said they aren’t making to-go orders right now and my best bet is to get in line and read to them what the customer wants. That’s not my job. My job is to pick up the order. Also, the DoorDash and UberEats app doesn’t always tell us everything that’s in the order. So if we’re ordering the food and something is missing because we can’t see it in the app, it’s still our responsibility. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. Also, there was another DoorDash driver in there who was asking me what to do because they told him he needed to order for the customer like me, but the customer had ordered with chipotle and Chipotle sends a DoorDash driver to pick it up, so he couldn’t see the order because they ordered from chipotle, not DoorDash! I told him they should have the order receipt and he said they don’t have it and he had to call DoorDash...
Read moreThe Chipotle in Bloomingdale on Army Trail Rd is possibly the worst one I've been to- next time I'll take the drive to a different one The line was practically out the door at 7pm- I finally get up to the counter and I ordered my bowl and a quesadilla, only to b told that I can only order a quesadilla online- there is literally nothing saying that anywhere in the store- this is the only thing my child will eat from here- had I known this I would have left and not waited in that horrendously long line- I would have just gotten us both a sandwich from popeyes- it would have been much cheaper- I was tired because I just finished an almost 12 hour shift and I didn't really feel like going to a 2nd restaurant- I asked y it can only b ordered online amd I was told because the machine that makes the quesadillas is in the back- makes no sense to me- go in the back and make the dang quesadilla- just a word of advice- maybe put something next to quesadilla on your menu board that it can ONLY b ordered online- this is the first and only Chipotle that I've been to where I could not order a quesadilla for my daughter This particular Chipotle is very close to where I live but I will go out of my way to go to a different one Also, the guy putting the bowls together is very chinsie with the ingredients- I had to ask for more fajita veggies because he literally put on like 3 onions and 1 1/2 peppers, had to ask for more cheese because he put on like 5 pcs of shredded cheese and had to ask for more lettuce cuz he put on like 6 pcs of lettuce- for what I'm paying for a bowl, all those ingredients better b overflowing in my bowl- c'mon bloomingdale...
