Z & C Teriyaki & Sushi — Restaurant in Bloomington

This place has been a huge disappointment. When they first opened up, it was great! The food tasted good and was always fresh. Now, it's just like they don't care. The food quality went down as well as their service. The food is not always fresh. The chicken sits on the grill under the metal cover which makes it dry and overcooked. You would think the sushi was good till I saw the guy making the sushi had sneezed not once, not twice, but three times all over the food. Didn't even turn away or cover his mouth. I've also seen the raw chicken sitting out next to the sink uncovered. Who knows how long the raw chicken has been sitting there but that's where the guy on the grill is grabbing the chicken from to cook it. I used to be regular when they first opened. A loyal customer. Not anymore. I've given them more than enough chances to redeem themselves and every time was a fail. The service isn't so good anymore either. Just sad when places like this start out strong and have so much potential to do better but let that place run straight into the ground. I went there one last time and that will be my final visit. So disappointing. Don't waste...

I stopped for a break while Ubering drunk people around... Thought... "Let's give Z&C a shot"... I paid extra for extra veggies and spicy mayo... Asked them to hold some of the rice because I didn't want it all... This seemed to cause alot of confusion for some reason.

Why don't they allow us to keep a receipt??? And why did they charge me $10.08 when the receipt says my total is $9.77???

Open the container... It's hefty with rice... I don't see any extra veggies... The mayo is barely half a side up full and... Worst of all... The chicken is literally scorched black on one side and tastes like charcoal...

I debated... I'm an adult... I'm sober... Welp... Seems I need to post this to warn away the sober adults from this disappointment in the future.

Staff at Z&C -- Please be aware that not everyone who attempts to eat at your restaurant is too drunk or young to not have reasonable...

Placed and order for a shrimp combo, extra shrimp, low mein, 2 eggs, spicy mayo and veggies. What i received was some overcooked dried up crumbled chicken like subtance, and only a handful of shrimp. And being that it was an upcharge, it wasn't what i paid for. I discovered their mistake after i got home, so i had to go all the way back to have them fix the order. They ask me exactly what i ordered so they can get it right this time, and after i get home, without checking again, they messed up the order by giving me rice instead this time!! Then i call back, again, they pretend they can't understand my complaints and try charging me for more food!! They used to be better at getting it right. But they just ruined my lunch today. Moral of the story, DON'T LEAVE BEFORE CHECKING YOUR ORDER!! Unless you wanna make 3...
