I previously had a good rating when they opened BUT.... Not only have I watched them disrespect employees, but to come in and all you see is them on their phones WITH GLOVES ON then make food without changing them is disgusting. That is one MAIN NO NO they learned not to do when the get their food handlers. They refused to accommodate someone pregnant because it wouldn't be fair to have someone on 1 thing and no one else even if it's the only position that would accommodate them. Instead they just pull them off the schedule besides a mandatory holiday. Under federal acts it's illegal to deny any accommodation to someone pregnant if there is a position that can. I have also listened to them state " Your not the only one pregnant, if they can do it you can also" which is absurd because everyone is different and no 2 situations are the same in any manner especially health issues. ITS THE DEFINITION OF DISCRIMINATION so I wouldn't allow anyone to work for such people nor put money in the pockets of those who allow this to go on. Given I doubt the owners know anything about what's going on in their stores never the less what their...

Mo’Bettahs has a much better flavor than other similar restaurants in town. However, the service was abysmal. The person working the window with dyed blue hair was extremely rude/inconsiderate. I asked if I could have some sauce, and they proceeded to say, “What do you want? I’ll have to charge you for it.”, when they included NO sauce in my original order, which I thought was included for free. There was no comment or customer service when that person realized the mistake, just threw it in the plastic bag. I didn’t mind, then I realized they also forgot my spam musibi. I politely acknowledged that a part of my order was missing, and they didn’t say a word. They grabbed the musubi and aggressively handed it to me, without saying a single word, and shut the window.

For a simple order, and two mistakes on the employees part with no remorse for the paying customer, it left a sour taste in my mouth. Food is better than Hawaiian Bros, but the service through the drive-thru is not worth it. Customer service...

I wanted to like this place that’s why I tried it again. First time we went there we did dine in. The second time I tried it was through their drive thru. Here’s my honest review: Pros - teriyaki steak and pork were very tasty. We tried the other meats as well but in our opinion the steak and pork were the best. Mac salad is better than competitor’s down the street. I like that there are more meat options as well. Cons - value for the money didn’t match up. They’re not as generous with their portions for the price that they’re charging. Service through the drive through was slow during lunch where there wasn’t a whole lot of customers inside or at drive thru. They ask you what kind of sauce you like but they forget to include it in your to-go bag. For the wait, you would think that they would have double checked that the full order was included in the bag. Maybe it was just an off day for the people working...

This is by far the closest to Seattle teriyaki I've had here in KC (including that place in Overland Park that has the gall to advertise Seattle style). That said, it's still not quite right, but I'll eat here while my search continues. The couch kitten is cooked well, with actual sear marks, but not sliced. The sauce on the chicken is slightly spicy, which isn't right, but my husband gave his steak rave reviews. Rice is short grain, nit long, and the brown rice is good. I like the macaroni salad better than Hawaiian Bros, but that's not saying much. The salad is where they got me. Seattle teriyaki has a cold salad, mostly iceberg lettuce, with a sweet kind of Asian coleslaw type sauce. The salad here, with the Oriental sauce, was... close? I'll be back to try more dishes, for sure.

We visited Mo' Bettahs in Blue Springs for the first time, and it exceeded our expectations in every way! The district manager went above and beyond to ensure our experience was top-notch. Their kindness, patience, and helpfulness made us feel like part of the ohana (family). The food? Absolutely divine! Every dish we ordered was flavorful and expertly prepared. My kids raved about the teriyaki chicken and shrimp tempura, declaring it their new favorite. They even joked that we should give 1,000 stars for the review! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a family meal. The staff's aloha spirit was palpable, making us feel welcome and valued. We can't wait to return to Mo' Bettahs Blue Springs! If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor and visit soon. You won't regret it.

Qualify the review. 1st time here.. drive thru. Don't think this is a Ono Hawaiian BBQ aka California ams not WA. It's not. The picture is 18 bucks. Had to ask for soy, 4 packets given for the big plate and a kids meal, and the rice is pasty and dry. 2 little dipping tubs of teriyaki provided. Should ask for more. The meat was tasty and flavorful but small quantities for the money. The steak is palatable but 1/8" slices should be. Pasta isn't too bad but is sweet for sure. Cabbage, is Cabbage. Think of this as the cost of Hawaii vs the Caribbean. Both are good, but there one is a better value. One last thought, the person weighing the food.... wasn't weighing the meat. Rice is heavy and cheap;) Imagine if a Mexican restaurant weighed their fajitas....
