I placed my order online and went into the store to pick it up. While waiting, I noticed two customers who arrived about five minutes after me were served and left about seven minutes before I even received my to-go order. When I finally got my food and returned home, I found that my order was incorrect — despite requesting extra mayo, it was not added.
I called the store to explain the situation and simply asked for a refund. Instead of addressing this straightforward request, the shift manager (Lily) asked me to bring the sandwich back to the store to “verify” it. I found this to be unreasonable and disrespectful — as if I would go out of my way to falsely claim a missing condiment.
While still on the call, I could hear Lily and her coworkers laughing in the background. She then claimed she didn’t know how to process a refund because the “refund button wouldn’t work.” To make matters worse, she said she could “write my name down and let the manager know tomorrow,” but there was no sincerity in her voice and no confidence that anything would actually be handled. It felt like a brush-off that would be forgotten — a reflection of her inept ability to do her job and deliver basic customer service.
Ultimately, I had to drive back to the store in person, which was entirely avoidable if my concern had been handled properly...
Read moreI’m not a person who writes reviews and don’t think I ever have but today’s experience left my jaw dropped. I went in at 1:30pm and it was absolutely slammed and the wait was long but no worries, it’s a busy lunch I completely get it but the way I’m assuming the manager on duty at the time talked to some of the other employees was not acceptable. I own a business with multiple locations so I understand big rushes and stress when you start to fall behind but I believe you should always treat employees with respect. At this time there was easily 40 DoorDash orders/ to go orders and one of the girls was falling behind a little bit but you could tell she was trying hard to keep up. the female on duty manager at the time just absolutely berated her In front of the whole store, I mean it just absolutely went silent while we listened to this young girl get yelled at about how she’s behind on orders over and over again. I mean at least bring her to the back for a moment and talk to her about finding a resolution to picking up the pace but yelling at her in front of the whole...

The employees working here are not productive. They always have 7-8 employees and only 3 are actually working while the others talk to eachother and scroll on there phones It's ridiculous. They also tried to prank the person who was making my order!! By loosening the oil/vinegar bottle. Thank God it missed my sandwich. The employee couldn't believe it and said" wow you guys are playing pranks now" Unbelievable. I was so annoyed by what I was seeing that I just walked out. It's good to have fun at a job, but if actually doing your job annoys you because you have to stop scrolling on your phone and help the employees who are really doing the work. (This also happened) then maybe its time to find something else. This place needs some serious Management. It's the only local jersey Mike's that has 8 employees working and still takes 20min for a sub and that's when there not...
