Bonne Chance Cafe — Restaurant in Boston

I don’t know what these other reviewers are talking about. I got their general breakfast plate, which included four limp strips of bacon, eggs (which were good), two “hash brown” things which felt like straight from McDonalds, and four pieces of pre-buttered white toast (was not given an option for bread). I would not say it was bad, but I would call the food aggressively mediocre.

I feel like you can get the same or much much better at almost any breakfast place around town. Perhaps I would have had a better experience with the breakfast sandwiches which were extremely reasonably priced. Bonne Chance Café is a really useful and unusual breakfast and lunch spot on Canal St. Always on the lookout for high quality-per-dollar culinary experiences, and given its proximity a hundred feet from us, this is a new favorite, particularly for its salad bar, although they have a surprisingly extensive menu with a wide variety of Korean and western options, featuring rice or noodle bowls, bibimbaps, wraps, hot & cold sandwiches, and paninis. Fast Korean stir fried pork,beef with a mouthwatering amalgam of flavor. They have chicken and a spicy chicken,not to mention the slightly spicy firm tofu squares. They’ve even let me do Half of one and half of the other, served on top of rice or spaghetti noodles with some crispy veggies to top it off.
