I've been to Caffe Nero several times both in Massachusetts and other parts of the world and have had friendly service and a great cup of coffee. However, when I went to Caffe Nero on Newbury Street in Boston I was disappointed from the moment it was my turn to order. Instead of the barista listening carefully to our order she was blabbing away with her co-worker and shift leader. It's alright to converse while working but not if you have no multitasking skills, which this barista did not. I ordered two very simple drinks a caramel latte and a cold brew with vanilla and a splash of heavy whipping cream and she still couldn't do it. I corrected her twice and on the third time making my drink the shift leader finally stepped in to do their job instead of correcting her from the very beginning. The reason she continued to mess up the drink is because she didn't like that I corrected her but when your a paying customer shouldn't you get what your paying for? This was a huge disappointment and I will never be stepping foot into that location again. I will also make sure to spread the word on how unprofessional and messy the stores condition was in that day. If there's three employees working with no line there should be zero excuses for orders being messed up three times in a row, store looking disgusting and unfriendly staff. If Honey Dew Donuts was on that street i'd choose them over Caffe Nero and that...

This one star is dedicated to Lily, the Barista. Horrible customer service and attitude. I always come to this location and never have any issues with any of the other staff. Lily consistently seems to have a problem, and while I don’t like writing reviews, her horrible behavior today crossed the line. She had an attitude while making our drinks then she openly talked about my sister and I, in front of us, in a negative attitude. Once my sister asked if everything was okay, she came up to her aggressively to the point where the Manager, Xavier, had to step in between and apologizing for HER actions and behavior towards us. We were nothing but respectful yet she was extremely hostile, intimidating and displaying a violent attitude. Xavier did a great job de-escalating the barista’s attitude but she still was adamant that her attitude was acceptable and did not apologize while Xavier did numerous times on her behalf. Extremely disappointing because this cafe nero location is one we visit...

Caffe Nero on Newbury Street, Boston, provided a delightful respite during my recent visit amidst icy and snowy weather. The inviting atmosphere, complemented by a diverse and appealing menu, made it a standout choice.

The menu at Caffe Nero boasts a selection of fresh baked goods and a variety of coffee options, catering to different tastes. From savory treats to sweet delights, the array of choices adds to the overall charm of the café.

In the midst of the chilly weather, the aromatic and steaming coffee served as a perfect companion, warming me up as I watched the snowfall outside. The quality of the coffee was commendable, delivering that essential dose of comfort on a wintry day.

The welcoming ambiance, coupled with the great coffee and tempting baked goods, turned my visit to Caffe Nero into a memorable experience. It's a haven for those seeking both warmth and flavor, making it a must-visit spot on Newbury Street, especially during Boston's...

I have to share how much I love visiting Caffè Nero, particularly the location at 103 Newbury St, Back Bay. I used to work in Back Bay and frequented this specific Caffè Nero regularly, and it always stood out because of the fantastic service provided by the manager, Troy. Troy is truly remarkable. Despite often looking understandably tired and overworked, he never fails to greet me with a smile and a friendly hello. His dedication and positive attitude make every visit enjoyable. Troy, if you’re reading this, I want you to know that you’re doing an excellent job and your efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you for consistently making my coffee runs a pleasant experience. I look forward to my next visit!

I’ve been coming here for a few months before church and I can’t say enough amazing things about every aspect of the experience… I avoided it for a while because I didn’t want to waste a trip into the city on “a chain” but while I always seek out Nero over Starbucks anyway, THIS Nero is a stand out and stand alone! The menu is amazing, the food is diverse and fresh, the service is friendly and consistent, and (this IS Newbury St) the price is actually low!! I can barely manage to spend $20 here, today I had a chocolate croissant, sparkling water, honey spice latte, and Florentine Benedict!! Please make a special trip to see this for yourself!!

Caffeine Nuro is a phenomenal place to go to if you want a coffee, but maybe something a little bit heavier on the breakfast side. They have great scrambles. They have a wonderful avocado to selection and egg sandwiches that can give you something a little bit extra than just a quick pastry in the morning with your coffee, they also have a really kind of cozy feel it’s underground and the brownstone so you can really get nestled up in the comfortable options. They have there. They also have good service fairly quick turnaround and I would highly recommend them.
