Starbuck Coffee #50497 chk# 707760 I normally do not have issues with Starbuck, with exception of their prices, but this particular location, I had several issues with starting at the register, nit asking if I want my receipt, then the wait for my order: a tall Matcha Frappuccino (I even ask to confirm, tall is the 16 oz cup not the Grande/12 oz cup) that look the Grande I usually buy but needed more today. I also ordered a Banana loaf and a Pumpkin loaf; both to say in their wrappers and a croissant w/ almond slices. I literally had to wait theough several order set out to get my pastries....ONE a time stretch iut through in between several other orders!!!! Why was the pastry portion of order not made ready to go in 1 go? What-the-hell!!! I even told the guy I still need 1 more, he just smile, went inro the back and continued to fill other orders before finally bringing the ONE warmed pastry LAST several minutes later. I expected the Frappuccino to take some doing to prepare; it was a customized order but also wrong size cup. It was suppose to be in a 16 oz cup but was in a 12 oz cup. I was not happy at all. Never in all many tines I gone to Starbuck...at 1 point it every day and several times during the 1 day til stuff like this happened and quality of product went down. Side note, I was also doing a individual boycott after Starbuck brought out Teavana & shut them down only selling very & limited original Tevana bottled teas...but that a seperate gripe for another day. This is for the horrendous service at the Starbucks 3 days ago. Specifically store #50497 on District Ave, Dorchester, MA The ONLY reason there is not a negative 0 are 2 things:
1 star, because i cant give it 0! Total dissatisfaction 9 out of 10 visits. Most employees (not all) are not very pleasant, have bad attitudes, complain about the job they chose to do. They do so behind the counter in front of customers. My last visit was one of the worst. Took 20 minutes to get two coffees. While waiting for one of the 4 baristas to take my order (watching them all but 1 doing random things other than making coffee with a long line behind me and a few people waiting for their orders) 1 pulled a flaming wrapper out of the oven and threw it into a trash barrel (filled with more flammable items). Mind you there was a stainless steel sink that dispenses water directly beside the barrel. Then she was totally surprised when the flames grew. Panicking to fill a cup with water from said sink and throwing on the fire. The other baristas joined in filling 1/4 cups and dumping them on the fire that was now extinguished. Just extra caution?...fine but at some point you know its out. She then said she refused to warm any more oven items. So now customers are refused hot food items because she doesn't know how to properly use an oven!? Awesome! As if all this wasnt enough. They almost forgot 1 of my coffee's (had to remind them). One of the coffes was supposed to have vanilla...it didn't, and i wasnt about to go back in and wait another 20 minutes for a coffee that was barely better than other chain...
Read moreThis morning the manager denied access to the fireplace because she stated that every one was hot there were 4 people sitting down and they all had jackets on. This was approximately about 7:55am went in to get cozy at the fireplace. The amnesty's are part of the service to the customer. What she should have done was asked at that moment what customers who were all so far away from the fireplace if it was ok to turn it on. Personally it was her choice because you could tell in her tone and aggressive nature as if she wanted me to know I am the manager here and what I say goes. When I told her it's for the customer not her she got even angrier and said I'm not putting it on period. I go there every single day I walked away and went over to Starbucks. Lose one customer soon with her attitude everyone will start enjoying there morning somewhere else. You could tell her manager skills are off the place was in disarray the person behind the counter could barely walk so many carts in the way and she was pregnant talk about safety.
