The Cafe on New Chardon — Restaurant in Boston

Traditional Cafe eatery in Boston's Government Center district that's a refreshing break from all those 'other' chain cafe franchises. They offer a large selection of foods + breakfast all day, is what brings me here several times a year. I'd go more often, but my budget doesn't allow it. The staff is Uber nice-sometimes they forget a item that comes w/ the meal, but are quick to rectify the error. They put up w/ ALOT of flack from some of their customers & always try to stay positive inspite of it. Note: At 12:45p-2p they're extremely busy w/ the lunch crowd from the court house across the street, so if it's a quick bite at that time ur look'n for, there's gonna be at least a 20 minute wait to get ur food, but worth it in my opinion. Great little hideaway spot! They serve a good breakfast here, pancakes, sausage, bacon, toast etc. They also have great sandwiches for lunch including egg salad, crab salad sandwiches etc.

1 star deducted as they will charge you extra if you pay with a credit card and your bill is under $10. Many people come in here for lunch & breakfast and unless you want to pool your bill it can get aggravating.

As most People in the area, this is a great place to stop for a quick bite. No they are not gluten friendly or vegan friendly. All their food is cooked in the same tiny grill. However, their breakfast and food does not dissapoint in general. 3 stars from me because you are charged extra for any changes you make to your meals, pay .30 extra for using a card and for the owner's customer service.
