If you have any type of social anxiety or any issues with interacting in new places avoid this bakery!!! Their customer service is extremely impatient and RUDE!! I came here for the first time today. When I entered the bakery there was no friendly welcome. While looking at the pastries a staff member approached me and said “what do you want” I explained that I was unsure as this is my first time here and I wanted to look a little more. I came to the first decision of a chocolate croissant. When I asked for this the staff member looked through me and said “k how many?” and I said “one” while still looking through me she said “but how many total though?” me confused stuttered and asked for clarification on the question. The representative “clarified” and said 6? 5? 4? and I asked “like chocolate croissants? just one please.” the staff member stared at me with a glazed look, then my partner asked if we could get individual items. The staff member ignored the question walked away grabbed a box and then began to box the item. I then asked for a blueberry scone and the representative said “raspberry or blueberry?” like c’mon sis!!! listen to what the customer is saying!?! where are the listening skills?? this was a very very very poor experience. I felt very uncomfortable and rushed while I was here, and I will be completely honest, I cried on my way home.. check your staff a little bit and maybe have regular one on one meetings with them to make sure they have more skills than just baking goods.. I also suggest having your staff members wear name tags so that specific complaints can be made so that you can take care of...
Read moreThe 3 star rating isn’t for the baked goods- it’s for the experience. I guess it was just a sad experience. I know and understand there are lots of Mormons in Utah. We recently moved to Utah from Texas. I just never had experienced Mormons so I thought they’d be nice, you know, Christian like behavior. Do unto others as you’d like done unto you. Our family went in to Parson’s. The two young people looked like they have some type of competition between them as though to see which gives in to go attend to the customer. Finally the female gave in. We had been in there earlier and just got a piece each but they were so good I went in a second time to take more home since we live about40 minutes away. This time I selected about 8 donuts and a cup of chili. She literally put the donuts in two separate little brown bags. While she was attending to me, a man came in and the young man there jumped to assist him. He identified him as a fellow Mormon and right away grabbed a box to place his selections. I felt the thick difference- if you’re not a Mormon, you’re a second class citizen and will be treated that way. My family and I had tried to make conversation with them but they just wouldn’t. The way the boy looked at my beautiful daughter in little glances and hesitated answering her question as to what did his bracelet letters stand for, was so disturbing. He looked like he thought he was was doing something wrong for talking to her. He answered- He who loved first. What do they really know about JESUS and how He loves? I feel sorry for them. They really need to...
Read moreYou would figure they’d have better customer service being the only donut shop in the bountiful area. This was my second time going here , as I am new to the area. Last time we went in my daughter got a pink iced donut with sprinkles. Today she asked me if we could get one and I went during peak rain hour. I went inside and didn’t see any in the display but decided to ask if they had any of the pink sprinkled donuts. The employee told me they have NEVER had pink iced donuts. I proceeded to say “oh we got one here last time we came in” then she she told me that was odd because they don’t make any of those. Whatever , I then asked if I could get one chocolate sprinkled one and one white sprinkled one. I paid and went into my car and looked inside the bag , where she had placed a plain white iced donut . I went back inside to get it changed to the sprinkled one and she said you told me only white donut not sprinkled. She did exchange it but there was no need for her to try to first gaslight me into thinking they never sold pink donuts and then that i was the one mistaken when I ordered the white sprinkled one. Simply irritated and will not be bringing any business to this establishment any longer. Thanks for reading!
Adding to say I have pictures of the so “never sold” pink donut , I had taken my kids to the park to have the donuts and I took pictures...
