Blaze Pizza in Bowie, Maryland is conveniently located just off the highway, with plenty of parking available in the mall lot right outside—super accessible. This was my first time visiting, and I really enjoyed the build-your-own pizza experience. It’s basically the Chipotle or CAVA of the pizza world, which made it fun and customizable.

The pizza itself was excellent—definitely a 5/5. I had the pepperoni with fresh basil leaves, along with a Caesar salad, and both exceeded my expectations in taste and portion size.

The service was average; the staff seemed to be moving through the motions without much engagement. The dining area looked like it had just come off a busy rush and could have used a quick clean-up.

By far the worst experience at a pizza place. Stood in line to order a kids meal & a half pizza, have salad. They took the kids pizza order and kept skipping over my half pizza/ half salad. I kept telling the my name and I had a second order. They kept coming out with the wrong dough as I order gluten free. By time they got the dough right it wasn’t half, by that time I was over it as the kids pizza was done. I told them never mind on my pizza & salad I only wanted the kids meal. I then stood another 10mins waiting to pay. After I paid they brought the kids pizza up and gave it to someone else after I told them that was the one we made. They then had to make the kids pizza over again because they gave it away. All the manager could say was did I want a dessert.
