After being helped at the Fort Lauderdale club by the General Manager Curtis who called this store's Manager directly, we drove 30 miles to this club to pick up a Pergola, the last in the district we were told. It was supposed to be pulled off the floor and carted and we were told to go to customer service when we arrived. They had no idea, and it was still on the floor for anyone to purchase. When we got to the register, it rang up at $250 more than the price at the Fort Lauderdale location. We showed them the tag from the store, they then got the tag from their store and it was also a different price than what it was ringing up. The floor manager said they had to verify the item numbers. They verified it, and then the floor manager said the General Manager Brian would have to correct the price. He came out and refused, said the stores mark their own prices and " TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT". In front of several other customers in line with us who were in disbelief. I literally tossed my card in outrage and my wife sent me back to retrieve it. On the way out the door, the customers in line were all saying we should call corporate right there that that was ridiculous and rude. We tried from the parking lot, but they were closed. Will try Monday. After calming down, I'm trying to keep in mind that I've been a member for over 13 years and have always had good experiences with this chain. I will however avoid this store completely in the future.

I recently shopped at BJ’s, and I’m thoroughly impressed with my experience. The store offers an incredible variety of products, from groceries to electronics, all at very competitive prices. It’s a one-stop shop for everything I need, and the value for money is outstanding. What sets BJ’s apart is the quality of their products. Whether I’m buying fresh produce, household items, or even clothing, I always find high-quality options that exceed my expectations. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what I’m looking for, and the shelves are always well-stocked. The staff at BJ’s is another reason I keep coming back. They’re friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, always ready to assist with any questions or special requests. The checkout process is smooth and efficient, even during busy times. I also appreciate the extra benefits of being a member, like the discounts on fuel and the exclusive deals available both in-store and online. BJ’s truly offers an excellent shopping experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great products at great prices!!

I ordered large items from BJ’s online because they wouldn’t fit in my car, and the ones in-store had sealed boxes. But what I received at home was shocking—used, clearly returned, broken products in open, untaped, and damaged boxes. I paid for new items, not someone else’s returns. When I contacted customer service, I was told an exchange wasn’t possible. That’s unacceptable. This is not how a reputable store should treat its customers. I feel completely misled and disrespected. Needless to say, I won’t be renewing my membership. This experience was a disgrace.

I love this particular store - most people that work there are very nice and so helpful! It is small, but they carry a lot. People tha go there are usually nice as well. The parking lot is almost never busy and there is not a long time to wait in lines, like in Costco, where the parking lot is a disaster. But there are quit a few reasons why they are less busy. The prices are bit higher and not that much organic, non gmo verified staff, not that much fresh fish, not that many healthier options. There are some good staff too as I do not like to spend a lot of time in the store. I choose to have bjs membership. But got disappointed. They took away the hand scanners from the self checkout machines. I always buy water and those cases are bigger then me to carry - to wait in always full line with people buying half of the store is absolutely dissatisfying and time wasting to me when i have 3-4 items in my shopping cart - we buy cat litter, water cases, coconut water. mixed greens and that's eat normally. Sometimes seafood(snow or king crab, us shrimp, trout. wish fresh salmon was wild cought from alaska not farmed) or meat products(rarely - we prefer bell and evens that bjs do not carry) It is cool to use scanner to scan everything so you do not even have to put everything away from cart, count how much items you have and leave. But now I am spending so much more time waiting in line. So it is huge downside - when i come to the store from work, all tired, I am happy to save money but if I am wasting more time or have to pick up water cases(40pack each) I am not excited. Also I love their campari tomatoes. They started to do more organic tomatoes, too. That's a huge plus. Really not excited that some items are disappearing - there is no good olive oil anymore. There is no New Zealand Mussels(we buy a pack every week so now we shop somewhere else), canned Poll and troll caught Tuna. But good thing they got canned wild alaskan salmon for good price. Bottom line - Before I was buying more things. they switched a lot, but some were still worth it - but without a self scanner is it really worth to spend your time waiting in lines? If you afraid of steeling put a camera - but do not take them off. It is weird to make people do membership with some equipment and after take them away and make people...

I was at this location about three weeks ago. The line went from the front of the store all the way to the back of the bakery so I decided to be thrifty and utilize their online checkout. I scanned all my items out of my bank information and paid. Before I left the store, I returned an item because it was in the wrong spot. I went to exit and the person at the front door would not let me leave because apparently there was no barcode to scan. I told him multiple times that there was no barcode and I already made a return. He insisted I wait for the manager and go back to Customer Service. I already waited a significant amount of time in customer service to make my return. I once again showed him my receipt from my online purchase and offered to show my bank statement and was told I had to wait and I was not willing to wait any longer. I left the store and shortly after I was chased by the store manager on duty and another large gentleman. Outside, the heat index that day was over 105°. Again I showed them my receipt in my bank statement. I was told that the payment that I go through even though though I showed them a bank statement. I had two young children with me and was embarrassed in front of them and was not even paying enough attention to them to know if I have turned on the car and AC, potentially putting my children in danger which I’ve never done before. This is what I am most angry about. I was accused of stealing, yet I utilized their system. And it frustrates me the most that my children had to witness this and had to be outside of the hot weather because of their lack of communication within the store. I was later told that once I made the return there was no barcode available and that the person at the return desk was supposed to communicate with the person at the front door and they made a mistake. This is still unacceptable! I was harassed, embarrassed, defamed, accused of stealing, and most importantly, their harassment of me in the parking lot cause me to lose focus on my children which is the worst part.

You chose not to have enough employees on staff to handle all the customers. As a solution you have an online check out system which you obviously don’t know how to utilize properly. Complete failure on the store in corporate and I will definitely be following...
