Wing Wah Express — Restaurant in Boynton Beach

The food was good, but this was one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve ever had. After 45 minutes, I called to see where the food is at (they are a 2 minute drive away). Without checking my name or order, they told me that the food was already out of the shop and less than 5 minutes away. 15 minutes later I call again, and am told that (despite being told it was already out for delivery) that it’d be another 10 minutes. I told her that if I had to call in another 15 minutes, it’d be to cancel the order. 10 minutes later it arrived, and we went to pay for the food. It was slightly over $20, but I had two $20 bills and asked for change. The guy only had a $5 bill (which is ridiculous. If I put online that I’d be paying with cash, he should bring change.) we gave him a $20 and told him that he’d need to come back with change, as that is all we have. Obviously we weren’t going to tip this guy $15 for taking over an hour to bring us a few simple food items. He comes back a few minutes later and gives us 3 $5 bills, in exchange for a $20 bill. Our food didn’t cost $25 or anywhere near that, mind you. So he gave us the wrong amount and we took it all and gave him the $20. Since he was obviously trying to take some of our money (last I checked, $15 is not equal to $20), he got a less than $2 tip. NEVER getting delivery from here again.

Edit: I got a call the next day from the owner offering us free food to compensate for our service. I decined, but he insisted on delivering to us again to make up for it. Okay, so we got the food and tried to tip the new delivery driver, who refused. Today I got a call from the owner asking me to change my review on here. I was under the impression that he was doing this to right a wrong, not bribe me for a better review. I will not lie about my experience, since it’s something people should know about. I will also never order from these people again, if this is how they earned their 5 star reviews. Beware dishonest business...

My first visit to this restaurant. Ordered on line and food was ready when I arrived. I stood at the window while the girl took phone orders. I get it, she was taking care of the calls that came in before me, however she continued to answer the phone rather than put them on hold and take care of me. Thats my first issue. Then after I arrived home we found one of our meals was missing. Called back and the young woman was slow to take care of me, let me check those orders she said, on hold waiting again, feeling like I'm at fault. Finally, they could deliver it to me in 30 minutes or so. I only live 10 minutes away so I went to get it. As anyone can see, I own a business and know how important customer service is. I know you can't please everyone. I was offered a soft drink for my troubles. Now I love Chinese food but I didn't like there food. The 3 varities of fried rice were tasteless, my green peper steak and onion had pleanty of vegtables and little meat. The meat was tough, the brown sauce it was in was great but that doesn't make up for the lack of meat. Wife had broccoli and beef. Same with her order although she said her meat was very tender. I don't write reviews very often, mostly when I have a great experience. This is not one of them. I will not be returning to this restaurant. And lastly, the cooks were not wearing masks, gloves, hats, and were handling food with their bare hands. Hope you have a better experience if you choose to go...

Don’t ever order the egg foo young during lunchtime. Order something else. They will tell you that it only comes as a dinner. Even though it comes with 3 patties they were VERY thin and lacked the meat. They were EXTREMELY cheap with the fried rice which is super inexpensive for them to make. Also, they didn’t give enough gravy for the patties. I have two patties left with only enough gravy for one and no rice. Their dinner portion of wonton soup consisted of only two wontons. If they consider this a dinner they should have been more generous with the portions seeing that I paid more money. The food was also not very tasty. They use peas and carrots in their food and something about that gave it a sweet taste. If I wanted sweet I would have put duck sauce all over it. Don’t ask for any extra packets of the sauces. They will charge you $.25 per packet. I ordered food from them some time ago and it was middle of the road. I thought I’d give them another chance but they blew it this time. I called them to complain and advised that I will never eat there again. If you’re reading this you will be smart not to eat there either. I should have gone to my normal spot but this place is closer to home. I’ll know better next time and...
