I came here for the first time and was very excited to try the food. My husband and I placed a take out order for the shrimp burrito and birria ramen. Originally we wanted to try the tacos but we were told we had to wait an hour to order them because the manager was not there. That’s when we proceeded with the shrimp burrito and the birria ramen. We waited one hour and a half in total for the food. We received the ramen first and then had to wait an extra 40 minutes longer to receive the shrimp burritos. Then eventually my husband received the burrito we couldn’t leave immediately and had to wait an additional 20 minutes because they forgot the second burrito we ordered. We drove all the way home and started to eat our meals and realized that the toppings we ordered for our burritos were missing. They gave us rice and shrimp only in our burritos . Then we proceeded to try the birria ramen and due to us waiting for an hour and a half the noodles were super soggy and the birria was flavorless and it was not appetizing. I called the store afterwards spoke with a nice employee as we were in the process of getting things resolved the employee explained to a higher up the issue that we were having. Then you can hear him say to the employee “why am i refunding them for the birria”. We spent roughly around 50-60 dollars for four items very expensive for the dissatisfaction. However the employee was very helpful and nice and we came up with a...
Read more5 Stars – Finally, Talking Tacos is in Boynton!
I’m so glad Talking Tacos opened a location in Boynton Beach—it’s right by my office, which is dangerous in the best way. Before this, I had to make the trek out to Wellington, and while it was always worth it, having one so close makes skipping lunch less of a problem when I know I can swing by after work.
Let me be clear: this isn’t your luxury sit-down Mexican spot. This is quick, casual, flavorful, and still super reasonably priced. For what it is, they nail it. I especially love their birria—maybe even more than most people. It’s consistently good every time I go, and you can tell they put effort into keeping it that way.
Now let’s talk churros. These are non-negotiable. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—not over-fried, not too dense. And the best part? When you dine in, they ask if you’re ready for your churros before they fry them, so they’re as fresh as possible. That little detail speaks volumes. Even in a fast-casual setting, they’re thinking about quality and your experience.
Also, they close late, which makes them even more clutch. Some people might agree, some might not, but honestly? Try it for yourself. If you’ve been, you already know. And if you haven’t? You’re...
Read moreHonestly, where to start. You walk into a lackluster dining area. You have to use an iPad to order your food and there is really nobody to even talk to you except for the person hovering over you asking you if you know what you want to order when you've told them two times yes I do. The food itself I don't know how they're calling this Mexican food because this is not Mexican food. The price of the food is insane. Now let's get to the quality. The Carne Asada is not Carne Asada where is the avocado sauce and you said his avocado sauce there's a spicy horseradish I'm not sure what you call it sauce and the burrito. It says beans where are the beans for those prices that you are charging my burrito should be loaded with meat, beans, avocado, and everything else in the restaurant. Now let's get to place in your order online and going to pick it up. It'll tell you it's 20 to 30 Literally when you get there, it's another 30 to 45 minute wait because the food is never ever ready. I stupidly have spent about $400 of this restaurant in the past two months but rest assure I will never go back and I will make sure when people ask me about it that I will tell them the truth. Overrated, overpriced, understaffed, and...
