We were just driving through Branson today and randomly pulled into Billy Bobs. We didn’t know until afterwards that today was the first day it’s had opened up since all the CV19 restrictions went into place. After we ordered we noticed a sign that said cash only!!! We had just left Missouri and maxed out our daily ATM cash Withdrawal buying a dog. Frantically drove around to find an ATM but couldn’t use it because we had limited out. Tore the car apart and scrounged up $10 but was half of what we needed. In a panic I called BBobs to advise and they said “that’s ok, we will take a check”. That was the last thing I expected being from Houston and was so relieved not because I might not get my food but because I couldn't pay. We pulled in, gave them a check and they could not have been nicer. When finishing Billy Bob himself was walking by our car and stopped to visit because he noticed outer TCU tags and talked about his basketball coaching and people he knew. He told me the story about how after 30 years of teaching he decided to open up Billy Bobs and 22 years later it’s a local favorite. He said what he likes most about his latest venture is the people. Well I would say so. Could not have had a better experience during a struggling time for all the local restaurants. He said the locals had really helped keep things going. I certainly see why. I forgot to say the food was amazing, but what made the difference were the people who work there. Thanks Billy Bobs for one of our more memorable dining experiences. ...
Read moreBilly Bob’s Dairyland is a gem in Branson! My daughter and I had a delightful experience that we can’t wait to share. Sitting at the counter, we watched our food being freshly prepared – an experience that added so much charm to our visit. The atmosphere is a nostalgic trip down memory lane, filled with reminders of Elvis, Big Boy, Betty Boop, classic Coke memorabilia, and race car vibes, making it a fun and inviting place to dine.
We ordered a double cheeseburger and a strawberry malt. To our pleasant surprise, the staff offered to split both the burger and the malt for us. This thoughtful gesture made our experience feel even more special. And let’s talk about the food – the burger was absolutely delicious, and from what I’ve heard, it’s no wonder it’s set to be voted the best burger in Branson for seven consecutive years! The strawberry malt was equally delightful, and having it split made it the perfect treat to share.
I also had the pleasure of speaking with Don, the owner. He was incredibly kind and genuinely interested in knowing how we enjoyed our meal. He interacted warmly with my daughter, making us feel truly welcome. And perhaps the most impressive part of all was how impeccably clean the restaurant was. It’s clear that the team takes pride in maintaining a spotless environment, and I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciated that. Billy Bob’s Dairyland is a must-visit for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch...
Read moreMyself, my wife, and my son ate at Billy Bob's twice while we were at Branson. My son and I tried their hamburgers and fries. My wife had a salad and some onion rings the first time and the second time she had a grilled cheese sandwich and onion rings. The onion rings were delicious. Everything we ate was really good. I had fried apple pie and ice cream for dessert the first time and it was really good too. I enjoyed the ice cream the most. My wife and son got shakes and they were awesome. I got a shake the second time we went and it was unbelievably good. The first time we ate their the service was really good. Our server was a really nice older lady. The second time was a younger teenage girl and she was very nice but not a very good server. She didn't check on us and our drinks didn't get refilled until another server brought out our food to us. That server refilled our drinks for us. The food is cooked fresh so it takes a little while to get it but it is worth the wait. Smaller restaurant so it only seats approximately 20 to 30 people on the inside. It has outside seating too. The price for the three of us to eat was about 60 dollars (not including tip) with dessert and drinks. The Only accept Cash. They have an ATM inside but you may have to pay a fee depending on your bank. The next time I return to Branson, I will definitely eat at Billy...
