Arby's was Arby's. By that I mean it was fine for quick service style food. My experience was ruined however, by the fat mouth breathing woman who didn't understand how to order, so she ended up with a sandwich that was served on a roll instead of bread. She just couldn't get her head around how the text on her coupon stipulated what she would get for that coupon, but there were pictures of multiple types of sandwiches on the entire marketing flyer. So she was not served what she envisioned. Well, then she just wouldn't shut up about it. Kudos to the Arby's staff for handling it effectively. First a staff member tried to explain to her that they had served her what she actually asked for, and when that twisted her head into knots because her two brain molecules just couldn't compute it, a management level staff member quickly got this dumb, undeserving, obnoxious lady the sandwich she envisioned, but did not actually order. It was only after the new sandwich was delivered thar the lady realized she was in the wrong and started to backpedal, a task that she struggled to accomplish verbally, and finally, to relief of everyone on the dining area, stuffed the sandwich in her oversize pie hole and finally shut up. I continue to have sympathy for quick service food workers as ridiculous episodes like this probably make the job almost intolerable. I'm actually thinking about starting a website which is a comprehensive how-to guide on the correct method to order, eat, and have a successful fast food experience without making a jerk of yourself and bothering others. It's really not that hard. Anyway, Arby's was fine other than that...
Read moreArby’s is mine and my boyfriend’s favorite fast food place to eat. However, this particular Arby’s is trash. I can’t say how many times our order has been wrong. The order taker can repeat my order back to me 20 times and the wrong things still end up in the bag. We will order several sandwiches (for others with us) and only be given 1-2 sauces like we’re supposed to divide that between 5 sandwiches. Fries are cold majority of the time. Service is INSANELY slow. We live right by this Arby’s and my boyfriend works only 7 minutes down the road. He has to leave AN HOUR early to get to work if he wants to grab lunch before going in because he will end up waiting so long in the drive thru. You can also tell the order takers in the window have absolutely no idea what they’re doing (especially to get simple orders wrong every single time). I ordered TWO CHICKEN SLIDERS the other day, and the order taker repeated back “That was three jalapeño sliders?” I understand the place is new, but I don’t see any excuse for the way things are going/handled over there. We’ve decided to no longer eat there. We gave it multiple chances just for them being new, but it just seems to get worse with...
Read moreI am a person who believes in giving credit where credit is due. While dining in at this Arbys my husband and I witnessed something we haven't seen in a while, an employee/manager going above and beyond not just for the customer's but for his own team. We received our food very quickly and while sitting down to enjoy our meal we witnessed him helping a customer with her drinks by getting her some drink carriers. She did not ask for the help and she was standing next to them so she could have done it herself but he offered walked around the counter and did it for her. He had a smile on his face for every customer and was an equal with his own crew. To many people lose sight of treating the people with whom you work with, with the same respect that you would want to be treated but this gentleman I think his name was Ken (we were there around 11:30 am today) was spot on. If this man hasn't been promoted or recognized recently he defenitely needs to be. We will defenitely be stopping by this Arbys everytime we are in the area just because of the atmosphere this gentleman created. Bravo to you sir and your...
