I recently stopped by Piccolo after a Target run, and I'm so glad I went! The bagel sandwiches are DELICIOUS. I ordered the lox salmon bagel and requested to add tomato and avocado. They use fresh, high quality ingredients :) I also ordered a strawberry jade matcha, and I was beyond impressed. Most cafes make their matcha drinks wayyy too sweet, but this drink was the perfect amount of sweetness. It's creamy, smooth, and you can definitely taste the matcha. Not usually one to write reviews but felt compelled after my experience at this new gem across from Brea mall. The moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome from the lady behind the counter who was both very helpful and knowledgeable. I ordered the smoky maple as well as the jalapeño cheddar bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Both were absolutely divine. The smoky maple had perfect balance of sweetness, robust coffee flavor, with a touch of salt and what tasted like a smokiness from something aged in a barrel. The bagels are SO good!! And beautifully presented. I love that the avocado bagel is full of flavor, plus I'm a fan of a little spice. They also give you lemon slices with it which is nice.

Great coffee too. I love that the coffee flight lets you sample a few different flavors and they are a pretty good size too. I think it's best for sharing.
