A Chinese Korean fusion spot for Jjampong and Jjangmyun. A small, clean restaurant that recently opened. I visited during lunch and got my childhood soul food - jjangmyun. I got the gan-jjangmyun, and it came with (many) huge chunks of raw, uncooked onions in the sauce, which I found difficult to eat. Mapo tofu was pretty good, but the bowl of rice that came with it was completely dry. The restaurant is pretty clean, and the service was attentive. It would be an ok choice for a quick bite.

I had Jjamppong and Tangsuyuk at Brea Pan Holic, and both were absolutely fantastic. The Jjamppong had an amazing smoky flavor with just the right amount of spice — truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The Tangsuyuk was perfectly crispy, not greasy at all, and incredibly delicious. On top of that, the service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming. Everything about this place was perfect — an authentic Korean-style Chinese restaurant experience.

A decent Chinese restaurant. It's more like a Korean-Chinese restaurant. You can get jjajangmyun or jjamppong, which you can only get from a Korean-Chinese restaurant. Their food is okay.

Jjangmyeon (2/5): unimpressed and it’s only a step above the stuff you get in the instant noodle packs. Not sure how they can charge $12 for a bowl of noodles with less than an ounce of meat in it when pho is around $15… Can’t believe the star dish of the restaurant was so underwhelming.

Sweet & Sour Pork “ttangsyuk”: (1.5/5) This tasted alright when it immediately came out. But as I started eating more and more of it I realized how flavorless the sauce was and how poorly trimmed the pork was. Almost every piece had a grisly peace of fat, tendon, ligament that was unpleasant to chew through and I feel like the fryer they are using is underpowered or something because only the exterior was crispy while the interior wasn’t cooked all the way through.

Service: nonexistent/5

The lady working here looks like she is on her last leg and every time we asked her for something that she seemingly forgot, it felt like we were asking her to do a monumental favor because she looked sleepy/sick. It’s not the best representation of a restaurant when their only front of house worker looks like they’re about to faint at any given moment.

I’m not sure how a Korean/chinese fusion restaurant is going to do in Brea especially when the food is trash.
