I placed a mobile order 9/6 at 2:08 while I was in the drive thru line. The line, when I pulled in was to the “hump”. After time, I finally made it to the speaker. I then told them my code. She confirmed my order with my name. Pulled to the first window. I asked for sauce so I can pay for it. She said she couldn’t find my receipt. After 7 minutes of her not being able to find my order she calls in another employee. That employee had facial piercings and “human issues” that employee opened the window telling me I placed it for the wrong location. I did not! Then proceeded to explain how I’m incompetent of how to use my app. The app I use almost every morning for my ice coffee 😂 so then they get the “stand in manager” who tells me the order was canceled. Offered to give me a few small drink… by that time I was yelling at the fact I have sent almost an hour in line. Money gone and kids still hungry. They did not offer to place a reorder. They did not try to diffuse the issue. I ended up leaving. Called to get corporates number. The “stand in manager” then tells me he does not have to give me the number. He does not have to help. He does not have to do anything. How I was the one that canceled the order. Then he hung up. I called again. He then answered then put the phone down. Once more I called. He had the manager on the phone. She explained to me why it canceled. Told me to call back in 2-4 days if the money was not refunded to my account. We are on day 10. I have called EVERY DAY to get my refund. This morning I asked about it to that “stand in manager “ he said “not my problem “ I called to speak to the store manager and he asked why it’s taking 10 days for me to call. NOPE! this has been going on for that long. I am being told by NOT THE STORE MANAGER that he can do the refund for me today. This location is the worst! Their drive thru time is over 5 minutes. Their inside is always dirty. Food most of the time is incorrect. I only did the drive thru order instead of curbside because it was always faster in drive thru then curb. The GENERAL manager NEEDS to train all employees! Time and customer service. I have pictures, videos and phone calls that were recorded. All has been sent to the manager through email and corporate has been notified. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! it will only disappoint you for the day...

Employees DO NOT help at all, they actually will come up to the counter(looking down) look up at you and before you say anything DART to the back, it is so bad that especially at shift change they will drop everything and the incoming manager has to yell at them infront of customers to ask where they are at and who hasn’t been help. They don’t take cash which from what I found out may be a franchisee violation but don’t quote me however I remember seeing on the news a McDonald’s was under fire for not accepting cash just because they got the kiosks in 🤷♂️ but they have an actual sign telling customers no cash kiosks only so there is that. DO NOT ask for anything extra and I mean stuff they charge you for they don’t honor it and get made when you call them out on it when you paid for it already, oh and bring your own drink carry if you order a lot of drinks they don’t give you one as a courtesy and they get upset when you ask for one…And this is only the main store not even talking about Westwood though they have a great manager who I hope doesn’t get worn out that get stuff done over there 🤷♂️
They also don’t accept cash unless they really have to and limit how much you can have or use, 20 max I think which is odd for a giant corporate like McDonald’s(Franchise whatever) and I believe I did read McDonald’s policy that cash is still acceptable like at every store
Have to edit review again I completely forgot from covid forward but they will literally block or close the store including the drive thru during normal hours… idky but this is a more common than not occurrence, was told it was due to no staff but as stated above where you literally have people on their phones and what not and food literally piling up on the belt getting cold or if they are still...
Read moreI've been to this McDonalds several times through their drive thru and they are not 24 hours. Don't claim to be 24 hours if you aren't! I've tried contacting corporate several times about this issue and of course because it's individually owned by the franchisee nothing has been done.
Here's one experience: Drove through the drive thru at 11:45PM. Lights were on in the back like they were still serving (and they should be since they're 24 hours right?) WRONG. After a few minutes of no response, knocked on the window. Someone hollered "We're closed!" It was about 11:55 now and we yelled back then what time do y'all close since you can't edit your sign properly or post proper times? They said 12. I yelled back it's 11:55PM. Since you stop serving people before 12, then you don't close at 12. I worked in fast food and the restaurant industry as a server and cashier so I know it sucks to get off late. I had to be at work by 5AM several occasions and didn't leave to 1AM sometimes.
Don't false advertise. If you aren't 24 hours, then don't advertise to be. This has happened twice now to me - several other times to my boyfriend and a few of his friends that also live in Brenham. The other time was about 1AM we pulled up. By the way, typing in 77833 in the McDonald's locator on their website will not pull up any locations. You have to just put in Brenham. I have verified that this is the correct McDonald's Multiple times. I've been to the 24 hour Jack in the Box next door just because this place was closed. I've been to the HEB behind it with how crowded it always is and people blocking isles and driving the wrong way through the parking lot and Baylor Scott and White next to the Pizza Hut next to the Parking lot. So yes, I'm talking about this very location.
