On the evening of 9/20/2018 I pulled up to the Smoothie King Drive thru at 9:52pm. I sat at the ordering intercom for two minutes and no one addressed me. I drove up to the window, where I saw a young man and he waved his hand and said "we're closed" I pointed to my watch and told him its 9:54pm and I waited by the intercom for two minutes and no one said anything. He responded "its too late I emptied my drawer." I asked to speak to a manager and he walked away. I knocked again on the window and asked him his name and he responded "My name....I don't know my name." I said that was fine because I snapped his picture. I spend nearly $8-$9 daily at Smoothie King (this location in particular). The customer service there is horrible and there is never a manager on site. When I try calling the phone rings out until the fax tone picks up (no one never answers)
The gentleman just completely ignored me because he wanted to go home. However the closing time indicated on the sign at the ordering menu is 10pm Mon-Fri. If 10pm is the closing time then orders shouldn't stop at 9:52pm. I'm not sure why he did not want to provide his name. Also he was not wearing a name tag. The professionalism displayed was extremely rude and disrespectful especially to a faithful customer. I noticed the store is equipped with security cameras. I would love for the footage to be reviewed. This will be verification of the time/date of when I drove up and interacted with the associate. Also it will show him walking away. Hopefully the security cameras has audio, so the conversation of how he talked and the tone he used can be heard.
If he could have acknowledge me then stated "I'm sorry we're closed" maybe it wouldn't have been so upsetting. But to be completely ignored, fan your hand (He was in the line of sight while I was at the ordering intercom) and walk away when I drove up demonstrated poor customer service and the inability to interact with the public professionally and...
Read moreAs someone who used to work here not too long ago, this place has gone SOOOO down hill. This is the second time I have come with my aunt THIS MONTH, the first time, the smoothie was awful 0/10 and the guy at the window had the worst customer service. Come today, the lady working says 3 times she can’t hear us, my aunt tells her the smoothie one last time and she states “you can pull to the window”, when we weren’t done with our order. We pull to the window and face to face, she again states that she can’t hear my aunt.. who mind you is NOT a quiet person. My aunt amplifies her voice so that she can hear her, and she tells my aunt “you don’t have to yell at me baby”. She gives the total for the one smoothie so we then tell her that we had more to the order, she proceeds to tell us “ok well you have to place those back there”…. THATS WHAT WE WERE TRYING TO DO 3 MINUTES AGO. Needless to say, we left without getting anything. Very poor customer service and wouldn’t be surprised if this location loses business due to these...
Read moreStaff is friendly but not always informative. This location does not regularly stock the snacks as does the walk-in locations. Apparently, one staff member was not aware of the sign placed on the window stating they now had chocolate covered almonds available for purchase. When I asked for them, the attendant kept thinking I wanted chocolate covered almonds added to my smoothie. I tried to direct them to the sign on the window, which they barely looked out to read. They made a brief search for these items inside and then said the location didn't have any. This literally makes no sense. He wasn't even clear in his response whether "not having any" meant "sold out" or "never had." Also, you can use the app to pre-order, but you can't get curbside delivery as the app suggests. It serves me no good to have to wait in line behind 5 cars just to pick up a pre-made smoothie. I would say don't bother using the pre-order option at this location and just place your...
