very disappointing take out order situation. ordered online and was to pick up at certain time. i showed up 2 minutes past pickup time. after waiting a few mins before anyone realized i was at hostess area, i was told they will check on my order. few mins later i was told it was almost ready. 5 mins later they checked again and it was supposedly being bagged up rt now. 5 mins later checked again, same answer. 25 mins after my order was to be ready for pickup, my order came out. when i asked if they forgot about my order and just started it when i got there i was assured it wasnt. i dont like being lied to for what could have been an honest mistake. i kno it doesnt take 25 mins to bag up a take oit order. then to be lied to by the manager and not one offer of anything to make up for the mistake was in my opinion bad customer relations. i like their food and usually have no problems w online ordering other than the always missing sour cream for baked potato. it was frustrating enough standing there that long, but got me downright angry to.lie to my face about the mistake. at least offer me a discount or something for the trbl. whoever was manager on duty that night should really reread or rewatch any training info on situations like this. i highly doubt "lie to customer that it takes half hour to bag order" is the...
Read moreWe enjoy Applebee's we go all the time. We were out and about on a trip so we went to this brunswick Applebee's. Will never go back. Called ahead and asked what time the half price apps started and the girl said we didn't have to wait we could come 20 minutes before and get the special. We went in the hostess goes yeah your server is cool you don't have to wait her 20 minutes shell let you get half price apps early. After our waitress cane to get our drinks she's bland and rude and says sorry you have to wait I'll be back in twenty minutes. Okay fine whatever the menu says ten pm the hostess was wrong whatever. The waitress would not come back for anything after we waited so long the food was gross all the tables were dirty. The waitress was friends with half the customers in there and she was standing right behind us talking to the table behind us she would not stop talking to them at least ten minutes and she was rocking back and forth bumping my show and my shoulder while I was trying to eat. Due to these uncertain times with this pandemic it is hard to keep your cool an a dasher or restaurant employee but we all need to keep it civil and professional. More than one of the employees was rude to me and i have to wait in line like everyone else even though im a dasher. That means with the lines this long the customer will get cold food. Or end up cancelling their order due to long waits. There has got to be a better system than what is in place. On door dash it clearly states to talk to the merchant and state that you are picking up a delivery. That's not how Applebee's is handling it. So if you are a customer I advise you to be patient.
