This is the WORST chipotle I've ever been to. For YEARS, I have ordered a bowl with just rice and cheese (nothing extra, no sides, or anything that would make it into more) as its for a child. They don't eat the meat or any "third" item so I stopped ordering a kids meal and ordered the bowl as a manager previously suggested. It has ALWAYS been charged as two sides. Rarely, three sides if someone goes heavy handed with the rice. I recently moved and was pleasantly surprised to find a chipotle minutes away. Well this place has decided that a bowl with just rice and cheese is apparently a veggie bowl and wants $10 for it. A side is roughly $1.50 to $2 varying by location. I have no problem paying for a bowl and frequently would go and purchase 2-3 bowls per order with the bowl of rice and cheese for my child. I asked the cashier to check and she walked to the back and came back to say they'd still be charging as a bowl. The manager didn't even bother to come out. I decided that there was no way I'd be paying $10 for rice and cheese so I said okay thats fine we won't be buying our bowls then and the cashier looked at me like she had just learned people can say no and I left. I will never go back to this Chipotle and I will be complaining to corporate as this is absolutely ridiculous.
Update 4 months later: this location is still garbage. This time management argued and stated that all locations charge a bowl of rice and cheese as a 3 point. I inquired as to what the 3 points were as there is clearly 2 and she didn't have an answer. So I ended up having her change my childs bowl to a kids meal and got them steak with it, a side of chips, and milk, for only $5. Literally HALF the $10 she wanted to charge me for just rice and cheese. Literally the worst manager ever. I figured after a few months and a complaint to corporate they would have adjusted but NOPE this location is still awful. On top of that mess, the two bowls I did get that were actual bowls were light on every single ingredient. Like half scoops if that. Barely any cheese on my bowl at all and when i asked for more they said they would charge me for an extra side. I literally just wanted a regular portion, not half. If you want good chipotle drive up the road a bit to the one right off the 303. Management there is very friendly and consistent. You won't get ripped off at that one.
Update 1 month later: I keep trying this location because it is literally down the road and the other one is 30 minutes away. I keep messaging corporate because I'm really hoping someone does something. Alas. Here i am, mothers day weekend and so beyond disappointed and considering boycotting Chipotle all together. This time I was just ordering a bowl. A normal bowl, no problem to be had to argue price. This bowl had rice, steak, and cheese. A CLEAR 3 point. Nay, I was charged for a steak bowl. Fine I guess, it happens. I ordered a side of queso and chips (for those unfamiliar it's almost $6 for queso and chips) this queso is literally half full. I asked for the container to be filled, they say they'll have to charge me for a large side. Again I'm referring to the basic clear small container they usually use. I didnt ask for extra, I wanted the basic container properly filled. Agitated, I leave with the bowl and half filled queso and chips. I get home and the meat was dry and fatty, the rice was hard and undercooked, and somehow the rice had several globs of sour cream. I dont know what else to do to reach the district manager but for the love of God. Replace the management team here. They're inconsistent and the quality is absolute garbage. I'll be reaching out to corporate again but who knows if they'll do anything this time....
Read moreI just left your store and I had a horrible experience. I went into your store to place my order because I was having difficulties with the app applying my BOGO offer that was emailed to me. After arriving at the store and placing my order with the manager, i proceeded to pay. However, the girl said oh the manager Johnathan Black will have to override. So, when Johnathan was done making burittos, he came over to help. He told me he couldn't take the offer and I would have to place it through the app. I proceeded to tell him the app was having issues. He told me to contact customer service of the app he couldn't honor the deal. He had no way of honoring the deal. I asked whats going to happen to my food. He said he was going to toss it in the trash. I said im not asking for my meal free. im asking you to honor the deal thats giving me issues in the app. He said well you have to chat with customer service. I said you are willing to toss good food instead of honor it. He said we will make it again. I was appalled and upset. I spent 45 minutes chatting with customer service of the app and and emailing screenshots of the offer to them to give a BOGO new code . Which disappeared from the app within minutes. I had to begin the chat process all over again with someone new, wasting another 15 minutes which I also filed a complaint by phone with complaint with corporate at the same time. After receiving a new code Johnathan has the audacity to approach me as I'm paying to ask me if i got it all worked out. Really? You know how embarrassing to sit in your lobby filing a complaint about your food being tossed in the trash because the manager didnt want to make it right. Im an paying a customer. I didn't ask for my entire order free. I spent a entire hour at chopitle going inside back and back outside all while everyone is listening to my issues and concerns over the period of a hour and Johnathan threw the food away. I dont think a situation like this should have happen. Im not saying im right and he wrong. But good customer service goes a long way. I am too a business owner and real estate investor. I would never treat my customers or tenants in such a manner. Johnathan is a horrible Manager who lacks good judgement and offer poor customer service and lack of empathy for customers and the franchise as a whole.
As i waa giving my complaint by phone to corporate thet asked for his name and i went back inside chipotle to obtain managers full name he told me Johnathan and gave me a business card with the name Erika Cabrera listed as the general manager. I went her this same complaint by facebook messenger.

Read moreI am VERY dissatisfied with my order today. And it’s not just the first time, it always happens when I come in. I walked in and everyone looked unhappy and they looked like they were rushed when it wasn’t even a big of a line. The portions were very inconsistent and I could even TELL from a glance that they were. One bowl had more protein than the other and that’s just sad that they don’t even take the time to check portions. This happens every time and I always complain in my head that another person has more portions than me. I asked for double rice on them too and yes they scooped twice but they put half of a scoop on there? In the end the portions were so inconsistent and so small they all don’t even TOUCH THE LID OF THE BOWL LIKE IT ALWAYS DOES. I feel like I shouldn’t even ask for double portions anymore because they won’t give it to you anyway and rip you off for an overly expensive price. The employees don’t even communicate well to their customers either, they made me feel rushed because one of the girls told me to go on in the middle of telling her what I wanted… like seriously??? “GO ON”??!?!? An “anything else” would’ve been more polite. I also ordered a kids quesadilla and it wasn’t even cooked all the way. Same with the other tortillas, they weren’t even warm. They were cold when I got to open it. Oh, and not to mention. The kids meals. Tell me why I look in the bag to grab one and there’s only 4 CHIPS IN THE BAG??? THEY WEREN’T EVEN NORMAL SIZED EITHER. I asked the kid if she had ate any and she said only one. But still, seriously? Only 4 chips for a child? That’s just ridiculous. I live 7 minutes away from home and NOTHING out of the WHOLE BAG was hot. Everything was so cold and it’s just sad that this is what my whole family has to eat. Only the cashier was nice. And yes I walked out of that door without a smile and my first thought was “wtf?” But anyway, the service everyone else gave was completely horrible and I definitely WILL NOT come back here.
