Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Buckeye

Girst time here. Sandwich tasted good, but the meal is overpriced in my opinion. Especially since they hollow out the top piece of bread (removed the actual bread and left just the crust). I'm assuming this is to make room for the ingredients? Whatever the reason, I'd rather have both sides of bread since I paid for it. $11 for an 8" sandwich, chips or cookie, and a drink. I ordered my roast beef sandwich, but without tomatos. I got a sandwich with only one full piece of bread, roast beef, lettuce, and mayo. Nothing else. I wasn't asked if I wanted anything else or told that there were more items to choose from. I went to the counter and was told a bit sarcastically that all the sandwiches come automatically with the meat, lettuce, and tomato. All the other items such as mustard, onions, etc. were optional and that I would have to request them. I was told "that's why they're called freebies". Hmm. Never been to a sandwich shop that didn't ask if you wanted any other ingredients, especially if they are available. Oh well, that's just their policy, so be aware you'll have to be prepared to ask as they won't offer. I'd rather go to Subway where I can get almost the same thing for half the cost. Jimmie Johns is good, but I'm not impressed enough...

Ordered one sandwhich for delivery at 1pm said it would take 15-17 minutes for delivery. I live less than a mile away from the store waited over an hour and when i called to cancel i was placed on hold where i waited for 10 minutes before having to call back and getting no answer at all. Wouldn't recommend, I'm disabled and not able to go myself. Very dissapointed with my experience and unfortunately will not be giving this establishment another chance. Ive already ordered from a different eatery further away and already recieved that so theres no excuse for tge poor service from Jimmy Johns. You lost a customer who orders food at least once a day. I can only hope this doesmt happem to anybody else. Save your time, money, and peace of mind. By the time i got a notification saying it was completed it was over an hour after all the earlier ordeal with them and my food was sitting on thw ground, even though theres a table outside the door, and no knock or doorbell. Very unprofessional, after giving a $4 tip my grand total was $24.82 for one sandwich that was over 2 hours late and paid extra for avocado that I didn't get on it. Ok me and my wife had wanted to try this place since we been seeing it and let me tell you we won't be going back. My sub was mostly bread tiny bit of lettuce 3 small slices of ham and more cheese than the other ingredients. We walk in and smells so good so I had high hopes. We get to the counter not knowing how to order and the guy taking orders doesn't even help we told him we never been there. We start to order and he just says lettuce tomato mayo good? I was like that's all you have? He doesn't tell us we can add more toppings or anything so I was like ok well it must be really good. So we get home and I unwrap my sub, I take a look and it was hollow I was like where is all the meat? I was just bread and cheese I was super disappointed and really wanted something fresh but I was so wrong my wife was super upset since we're like 20 mins away! It's frustrating to spend money gas and time for something I was not happy with. I could gone to Walmart and bought all I wanted to make a better sub for less $. So sad Jimmy John's. Never again!
