I recently dined at Venice Beach Korean Seafood Restaurant in Buena Park, and it was an unforgettable experience. Well i want to update the 2nd review following 2nd trip.

My 1st trip, server was Sin K, the name on the receipt. She was fantastic. So the experience was wonderful.

I went on a 2nd trip to showed my out of town friends this place during christmas/ new year break, our server was Jenny J.

She was simi horrible. 3 ppl sitting and she brought only 2 cups. My friend asked about the special writing outside the shop, it was in Korean so we cannot read. Why not write in English? Anyway, Jenny just pointed to the menu. We ordered crab meal and other things. She didn't give us any gloves and we were more annoyed seeing her set up the table across from us with complete setup and gloves.

Toward the end, i was waiting for my card, i noticed the table that was seated after us got their bill early. Well, turned out, she gave my bill to them!! She need to focus more and serve every customer equally. We felt discrimated by her.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share. During my visit, I was served side dishes that were not just unappetizing—they were spoiled. Every single side dish had a terrible smell, reminiscent of rotten towels, and clearly looked old. When I brought this to the attention of a server, they tasted the dishes and confirmed my concerns. Unfortunately, I was informed that the owner was out of town and the manager was unavailable to address the situation. I felt it was necessary to cancel my entire order immediately. I've never encountered spoiled food in a restaurant in the U.S. before, especially not in a place serving sushi and sashimi.
