Went there yesterday on 5/27.Placed on the waiting list at 2:50pm and told there would be a wait.We were totally fine with that as it was a gorgeous day & Memorial Day weekend. We received a text about 3:30pm saying our table was ready.
Went back promptly and was seated in the cocktail area on the patio. The rest of the patio is food service. Anyways, we waited and waited for anyone to come to the table and when she did she confirmed it was a cocktail table and we were moved.
Finally at 4:40 our waiter comes around, and he takes our drink order-Rum and coke and Gin and tonic.
22min later we receive our drinks and place our order- Ahi Tuna Nachos and a Blackened Grouper Handheld sandwich and I chose the Mista Salad instead of the fries for the side. I asked for dressing on the side like always.
We are now after 5pm. We see every other table around us getting checked on except for the tables that have our waiter- his initials are B.P-we try not not say names unless the restaurants asks after our reviews. One table has been done for a while and just sitting there waiting-another waitress cleared their table for the older gentlemen but the waiter is still no where in sight. The table behind us had to ask another waitress for water refills as the waiter had still not come back to their table either. Nor ours.
At 5:39 we received our meals by another waiter who was not ours. Placed on our table and walked away. We notice right away that I have no salad dressing. I start to eat half my Grouper sandwich and my salad continues to wilt in the sun.
5:56 comes around and husband is almost done with his Nacho plate and I still have no dressing. The waiter FINALLY comes over to ask how our food is. My husband says good-as the nacho plate is always- and I inform him that I have no salad dressing. We receive "I'll be right back" .
6:19 The waiter who is also the waiter for the table behind us checks on them and looks at me seeing I have no dressing still. Husband has been done with his nacho plate for 15min by now and he brings the dressing for my dilapidated salad and then leaves.
We wanted the check. We felt like we were being held hostage as we could never find our waiter but all other staff are moving at quick speed for services and they are attending to all their tables. The cocktail section waitress this night was taking orders and delivering checks to table 3-6 at a time-by herself with a smile.
6:43 comes around and our waiter comes back to see if he can get us anything else-as other servers have cleared other plates and glasses for us and we've been sitting there doing nothing but waiting. We explain the situation about the meal, service and overall lack of everything. He offers a 15% discount and asks if that seems fair. Honestly no, It was not. We relay this and he looks at my husband and says "well you ate your entrée"
My husband nicely explains to the waiter that this is in no way about his entrée but the fact that I could not enjoy mine nor eat half of mine, the ridiculous times of waiting, forgetful ness and overall lack of service was the problem. Mainly the fact I did not get to finish my meal.
We asked to have my meal taken off as it was inedible. He says okay and brings us a new bill. we promptly put the money in the envelope to be taken away, and he leave us to wait another 18min.
Silent Disco started at 6pm that we had tickets to and missed the entire first hour.
As we stated before, yes it was busy, but no more than usual in the summer and and we reiterated before- we have never experienced this before. We hope this was a one off because it definitely left us with a salty taste in our mouth as well as surrounding tables we...
Read moreWe waited at our table for over 30 minutes. I young man came and poured water. I asked him if he could let our waitress know we were here. It was still a good 10 minutes paid for. I did get a discount on my salad. An appol she came to our table. She asked about drinks. We had known our order for quite some time waiting..y husband ordered a drink. I asked for a side of ice. Bring my water had none. And told her that I didn't know yet. And she took our order and never came back to our table. I had to go inside and stand out of the way of servers. Trying to order my drink and my side of ice I never received . Finally I saw our waitress peeking out of the window at her tables I'm guessing. I then asked for my drink and side of ice again. Our food came and my salad was missing my candied walnuts and goat cheese. It was a very small salad for $17. I finally got our waitress attention and told her my salad was missing a few things. She came back and set down a souflette of walnuts and goat cheese. And started to walk away. I said young lady these are not candied. She said we're out of them. And my name is Taylor. Not in a nice tone either. Must be I offended her by calling her young lady. She definitely isn't a happy or people person. I asked for a manager at the server station and a server said he was a manager. I was telling him our whole experience and Taylor showed up and started arguing with me. Wow. I paid my bill and I asked the supposed manager our service name and he said I not telling you. She a good waitress. I would of never ordered the salad if I would of know. Never a I'm sorry or even we are out of candied walnuts. Just nothing. And I can't believe when she saw me talking to the other server she came over to Or even the food we me and argue. We definitely didn't get the service...
Read moreI went here to purchase a gift card to give my elderly grandfather for his birthday, and was extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and COVID safety measures being taken.
Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess told me to go to the bar, where someone would take care of me. I was waiting at the bar for at least five minutes before someone behind the bar even acknowledged me. After directing me to the bar, the hostess then went to the other end of the bar, where she presumably saw me waiting, and started casually talking to a fellow staff member. She neglected to remind the bartenders that there was someone waiting to be taken care of.
There was an older bartender who was working with his mask down below his mouth the majority of the time I was there. He then offered to take shots with the customers he was serving, and his fellow female bartender. The two of them proceeded to pull their masks down to take shots with the customers. Finally, after the shots, I was acknowledged and taken care of.
While I was waiting to be taken care of, I noticed a customer walking around, talking to a server, without a mask on. No one was asking her to put one on. Then, a server was carrying food out to a table, and her mask was almost halfway down her mouth.
I almost just walked out, without purchasing the gift card, as it was very concerning to see how little they cared about taking necessary precautions to protect their customers. Only because I know they have outdoor dining, and my grandparents are fully vaccinated, was I comfortable in still giving my grandparents a gift card to this place. As someone who also works and manages in the food service and customer service industry, I would implore you to change your practices and take the safety of all into...
