Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Buffalo

This was the worst Service that I have experienced in 55 years. The food was OK-ish but the team, consisting of three ladies, was incredibly unfriendly and untalented. It was so bad that they just don't deserve more than one star. When we entered we had to line up. Even though there were only three people in front of us it took ages. The reason was that only two were working whereas the third was not visible as she was having a chat with a guy on the street. Also the eldest of them was providing extra services for one customer, she was obviously knowing (extra sauce here, extraflakes there). Finally we were asked to place our order, which we did. In the meantime the queue reached the door. Amongst others we ordered a BLT as menu (the panini which we actually wanted to have was not available). While we were waiting for our stuff the third team member showed up (a lady of 35-40 years). First thing was that she - in impertenant tone - was complaining that we would wait in the wrong place and she was commanding us to wait somewhere else. Then we got our coffee. We asked for some sugar. The one who came last was first refusing to give us sugar. She said that we shout have asked in the beginning. Fortunately her young colleague was helpful and was giving us some sugar sachets. I was then asking for the chips which were part of the menue. The three ladies literally refused to give them to me. This is really unbelievable. I've got the impression that the one who was first not working put pressure on the others - to behave like they did. Even though the food is good I will never ever visit a Tom Horton, neither in the US...

The rudest experience last night 4/26/25 6:45 pm. The kid at the counter clearly did not want to be there and was a jerk and treated me like an idiot. Tried to order a tuna sandwich and told me no food because they started shutting things down because they close in an hour?? I asked - what about a tuna sandwich would impede your closing process? Do you grill/heat it? Are you out of tuna salad? Response - yes we toast the roll - seriously - I didn’t want it toasted anyway so if you could just slap some tuna salad on a roll that would be great. Then it went downhill from there w the attitude - he couldn’t believe I questioned him on making that tuna salad. And when my daughter asked for glazed donuts his response - all our donuts are glazed. It was like pulling teeth to get anything and a complete waste of my time and money and was with young children. He made the whole process painful. If he doesn’t want to work there then he should get a new job. I am always kind from the get go - Worked in food service for years and never had the audacity to treat a paying customer like that. What is wrong with these young ppl these days. So entitled think they should be put on a pedestal because they showed up to work that day. I spend way less money out these days - less coffee runs, restaurant visits and take out because of it. Service and the food is terrible most places - it’s better, cheaper, easier and tastier...

Totally enjoyed this location. It is next to where the Buffalo Sabres play. It is an homage to Tim Horton #2. We happened to be staying at the Marriott Lecom Harborcenter. It is part of the street entrance not the lobby. There is some history and museum type displays in there, as well as Buffalo history. Ended up having hot awesome coffee and a wide variety of breakfast each day. They have stuff like doughnuts, bagels, but also a lot of protein such as a wide variety of egg, bacon, sausage, & Turkey sausage breakfast sandwiches on bagels, biscuits, wraps…thoroughly enjoyed their options. It is 10x better than your typical coffee shop on food and drinks. Recommend. For example a couple of hot coffee drinks and some complex yummy breakfast for 2 under $15 easy. Try that at Starbucks with yuck food for under $25. Thank goodness they just opened one up under 1 mile away from my neighborhood in north Atlanta in Forsyth County on Peachtree Parkway just north of Johns Creek. 😲☺️❤️ I like my double expressos and crazy cappuccinos too. This coffee is so good, I just want it by itself…the gal likes 2...
