Loved this place! My daughter is in her carousel era and would ride one as many times as she could/is allowed haha. Good thing rides are only $1 here! And it's a beautiful, very classic/old-fashioned carousel. The two inner rows of animals move up and down while the outermost row of animals stay still, and there's a few "carriages" for people that just want to sit still. I know it's been restored and i'm not sure what it looked like before but it looks great now. PLUS, it's solar powered! In any case, it's worth a brief visit to ride even just once. The music of the restored Wurlitzer made the ride like a scene from an old movie. My little girl wife has now established a goal of finding and riding all carousels in the contiguous hemisphere. Not only is it a great place to stop by for a quick ride, but the building can be booked for small to medium events. I recently hosted an event at the Carousel (30-35 people, no kids) and everybody had a great time. Linda and the entire staff were wonderful and super easy to work with.
