Deco Lounge — Restaurant in Buffalo

Instantly the vibe is great. The lighting, the aesthetic, the set up, etc. It was warm and welcoming while having an upscale feel without being too much to deter anyone.

The happy hour deal is unparalleled, the bartender (Mike) was great and the drinks he made met and exceeded expectations.

We sat at the bar for an hour with other friends and then went to our table. The hostess sat us but we were not served until we asked her where the server was after about 15 minutes of just sitting idle without a drink (even water) and no menus (granted one of us said we did not need a menu to the hostess so that is on us).

It was a little chilly but nothing that made us uncomfortable. The music began at a good volume until someone mentioned it needed to be raised and then we had to talk loudly to hear one another. Both the temperature and volume are personal preferences so our experience may not mimic another persons.

The food was very good and once the server addressed us the first time she was amazing throughout making up for any initial delays. She was kind, engaging, and genuine. Given this is the third official week open there are a few very small items that I am sure will be ironed out with time and I look forward to this becoming a regular go to for us both after work and for intimate dinners with good company. Idk where to start… There no designated parking only parking on the street if you’re lucky. Restaurant is hard to find was late to me reservation due to 1) finding a parking space 2) walking from building to building looking for “Deco lounge”. The waiters are very slow they never come back to refill drinks you have to flag them down when you see your waiter. The bar is overly loud when you’re trying to have an intimate dinner with your loved one. The food barely any options. Not only that the portions are for kids. There’s no sides to even think about ordering. They’re famous “24k golden wings” Not a lick of gold I ordered them they brung out honey bbq wings 10 for $22 rip off their 15 bucks at your local pizzeria. Do not order the salad unless you like a tree branch for a salad. Lamb hard as a brick no flavor just char. You get 1 lamb chop (cut into bite sizes) shoved on a skewer with 1 slice of bell pepper for $44. Toilet I mean Tap water is the only option for h20. If I knew what I knew now I would have went to Denny’s. Do not recommend unless you like...

My husband and I attended on grand opening night. The ambiance was fitting for an upscale cocktail lounge. The staff were very attentive and able to answer every question we had about the menu. We appreciated the owners coming around making sure we were enjoying ourselves. My husband and I both got their lamb chops with grilled veggies on the side. The lamb chops were seasoned very well and cooked to perfection. Their cocktail menu offered a variety of drinks. I had their Mintberry Mule as a mocktail and it was very delicious. For it to be grand opening night, we were impressed with how they were able to keep up with the pace of the customers that came in and out and the food was served at a very reasonable wait period.
