Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Bullhead City

Quick and dirty review as my experience here was an interesting one.

So 4-stars for service as we were quoted 20mins to be seated and were sat in just under 15; our waitress let us know they were insanely busy and apologized for the wait and told us the kitchen was backlogged so it would take longer for the food, which was nice to get the heads up.

The 2-stars are for the food and coffee, which you can't even really call it that as "colored hot water" is a much more apt description for what they put in the cup. Also, the potato pancakes on their menu are NOT potato pancakes; they are just pancakes w/onion and chive (that were supposed to come w/sour cream and applesauce, but instead came w/butter and applesauce which means the kitchen didn't know what they were supposed to be either). I ordered the multi-grain blueberry banana pecan pancakes meal and got buttermilk pancakes instead of the multi-grain; the "chicken apple" sausage that came with it definitely tasted porky (though the casing did give it a different look & texture) and the twinberry syrup I put on my pancakes was a watery, waaaay too sugary-sweet mess. Needless to say I was less than overwhelmed by this bfast and for the price, I would have been better off going to McDs and saving myself the hassle & $$$.

The sad part is, there aren't a lot of bfast choices around, so I think that's a big part of why this places was so packed this morning, but after my food experience today I will be looking elsewhere should I find myself in...

First let me start off with a very positive vibe, THE FOOD IS SUPERB!! OUTSTANDING QUALITY AS WELL AS VARIETY. I HAVE NOTHING BUT THE UTMOST RESPECT AND LOVE FOR THE FOOD. I HAVE HAD A DIFFERENT DISH FROM BREAKFAST TO DINNER AND EVEN DESSERT AND EVERYTIME HAS SURPASSED MY EXPECTATIONS AND HAVE APPRECIATED THE FOOD IMMENSELY. That being SAID i would like to give a review on the QUALITY of service. Let me also make it very clear it is just the SERVERS that i take ISSUE with. Like i stated earlier the food quality is phenomenal, the hostesses and cashiers very friendly and accommodating. The SERVERS though have unfortunately tarnished my last two visits so much so, that i will NOT be returning to Perkins. The reason is simple and sad. I have never at a restaurant been treated so unjustly and with such utter contempt by 2 seperarte servers that i never saw before so it was definately not a personal attack.....i think. They were blatanly hostile ans both times got my orders wrong and literally has to strong arm to get correct order after having rombeg to take my order in the first place. I know im grateful for my job and people with jobs should always come to work and perform at 100% if not then leave. Do not take it out on paying patrons. Dont like your job then leave bye.I hope that the ignorant and the rude gets sorted out because otherwise ABSOLUTLEY...

I decided to try this place as a different option instead of fast food! I'm sadly disappointed to say that the service was not at all that good nor the food! When we were seated we felt as if we were not welcome, the waitress came and took drink orders and brought them back, we needed a few more mins so we told her she didn't come back for about 15 mins! Mind you the restaurant wasn't busy at all maybe 4 tables and 3 different servers. She took our order and brought us our salads we asked for a lil more ranch and didn't receive it and then our food came out right after that. We asked for the ranch again and we were told they ran out and we're looking for packets of ranch. We never received any more ranch. The waitress then told us shes taking her break and someone else would be checking on us. Nobody checked on us until we asked for boxes. The mashed potatoes which tasted disgusting, fries and tater tots were cold! We didn't take them with us! I went to pay and we were given the wrong bill and attitude when they had to bring us the other bill even tho it wasn't my fault! Then our waitress came out making a remark about how they just made some more ranch and they have some now to the cashier I took that as a slap in the face seeing as we had asked for ranch 3 different times! Will never go back there we should have just gotten fast food it would have...
