Pretty great food, we ordered the Salted Pepper shrimp, Mongolian beef, Beef broccoli, House Special Chow Mein, Salted Pepper Pork, BBQ Pork, and 2 iced teas. All but the BBQ Pork was amazingly well cooked, granted the Salted Pepper Pork, was a bit too salty, it was still great. We had ordered 2 Iced teas, and when we first got our drinks they brought the wrong tea and didn't take it back after it was corrected so I presume we were charged for the wrong tea. The service was really rude, when we sat down our server asked if we wanted a high chair for my daughter and I told him "Yes, we would like one", and I even took a seat out and placed it away from our table to let him see and have an easier time to place the high chair at our table. 5-10 minutes go by, another family comes in, he gets them a high chair and a booster seat almost immediately and when I asked him for the highchair for my family, he tells me there is no more and I didn't tell him I wanted one... That annoyed us but my daughter was able to kneel down on a chair. Even with all of that, I know how hard it is for servers so I was still going to leave a 20% cash tip for him since I wanted to still be nice. After I paid the bill, my other half told him I was just going to head outside to gather the cash for his tip from my party and when I went out to get it, a woman chased me out of the store and seemed to be demanding me to tip, and she was saying they "forgot" to include the gratuity in my check and they usually charge 18% for parties of 8 and more (I had a party of 7, 4 adults and 3 children), so I reduced the 20% tip to just 5% because they were rude to us, gave and charged us a wrong drink, and very rudely chased after me. Horrible service, but great food. Only order takeout or delivery from this...

I was referred by a client to check out this place. When I walked in I was never greeted, I didn’t think anything of it at first. Until someone else walked in after me and the guy working greeted the lady after me right away. Gave her, her togo order as I’m standing right by her and she leaves and he still doesn’t say anything to me. Wouldn’t even make eye contact with me. He then started checking out a table that was dinning in, still no acknowledgment of my existence standing there patiently waiting. He then helped someone else, still blatantly, ignoring me. When he does finally say something to me, he says what do you want. I was thrown off guard by he’s rudeness, but I asked if I could put in a togo order. He just stares at me and never acknowledges me. It’s clear he didn’t want to serve me. I got the hint after that.
No they were not busy. One table of 3 people, myself and the lady who walked in after me that he helped immediately.
What he didn’t know was I was ordering for my company, that I would have spent well over $500 dollars with his establishment. Instead I took my business to Classic Eats down the street. Where I got treated like an actual person.
10 out of 10 WOULDN'T RECOMMEND EAT TIME.
Oh yea…. I’ll be sure to let everyone know don’t bother eating here unless you want to be treated poorly and looked down upon.
Check out Classic Eats instead. They have great customer service, friendly staff and amazing food. My...
Read moreAs a token of saying thanks to a buddy of mine who picked me up from the airport, we decided to look for something to eat in the area. We originally were going to go for ramen before we found this restaurant on Yelp with excellent ratings and decided to go here. Best decision we made.
Got the chance to speak to the owner and at the time of writing this, the restaurant had been opened for 3 weeks. Everything from the design of the interior, to the cute paintings and decorations that can be seen throughout the space, are done by both him and his wife. They wanted to step away from the typical looks of a Chinese restaurant and go for something more welcoming and different. He recommended that we try the braised beef as it was a dish that was highly praised from his customers so we went for it. It was the most tender braised beef I have ever had and it outshone all the other ones I've had in the ID district. Their Sweet & Sour pork was also an amazing dish; the crunchy texture was a light layer on top of the pork unlike some of the variants I've had before where there was more of the outer layer and little of the pork inside.
Additionally we paired it up with their VITA milk and red bean drink (has a really cute cat spoon to mix) as well as a passion fruit soda.
Overall this restaurant quickly became my instant favorite and I plan on coming back here soon and bringing more family and friends as well as trying their other dishes and sharing pictures...
