So, my girlfriend and I decided to dive into this place, thinking we’d be whisked away to a Hawaiian paradise. Spoiler alert: it was more like a trip to a budget theme park where the rides are broken! For a staggering $36, we were treated to a culinary experience that could only be described as a flavor ghost town. Seriously, I think my taste buds filed for unemployment right after the first bite!
And don’t get me started on the staff’s volume — I felt like I needed a hearing aid just to decipher their secret menu! “What’s that? Do you want to add sauce for an extra charge?” Yes, please! Because what’s a meal without a side of financial regret, right?
If you’re craving Hawaiian food, skip this spot and head to ShaneBoys — trust me, their food is like a vacation for your mouth, while this place felt like I was stuck in an airport layover.
Oh, and just a heads up: this food made a speedy exit from my system, like it had a one-way ticket on the express train!
On the bright side, the staff was super nice and friendly, and the juice was the best thing I had there. So, if you’re looking for a great juice and a friendly chat while your stomach stages a protest, this is the...

Good, but not the best. Walking in, you're greeted by great staff with smiles and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. I had the Regular (2 meats option) teriyaki chicken and teriyaki steak (+$2 small portion), which was good, but both were sort of bland and dry without the added sauce. This came with 2 small scoops of rice and a scoop of the macaroni salad, which were ok. Family ordered katsu chicken, teriyaki chicken, and kalua pig. They liked it. None of the meals come with a drink so for me and a total family of 5 paying almost $17 a plate for very controlled portions with no drinks and food thats just okay isn't worth it. Yes, it's new to the area and a refreshing break from burgers and bland tex-mex, but I've made better at home for less. It was a nice experience, but didn't blow my mind. Parking is very limited and apparently tricky for most as there were almost 2 fender benders as folks tried to maneuver around each other just in the time we sat down to eat. If you've got a coupon or really like chicken options this would be a great place for a quick but slightly...
Read moreReally great experience here. I ordered through my phone for pick up which was quick and seamless. I ended up eating at the restaurant. Employees were so friendly and even stopped by to ask how my meal was and if I needed anything (even though it's fast food!). Tables and areas were all very clean. Customer service was so excellent that it will keep me coming back.
Now the food, I saw the grills when I walked in and had a feeling it was going to be good. I wasn't wrong. The teriyaki style chicken was delicious, chicken katsu was crispy and moist. My favorite dish was the kalua pork. Tasted like what I've had in Hawaii. The kalua pork was extremely juicy. White rice was good (I know seems simply but they used a proper short grain and wasn't mushy or over cooked). Overall great experience and this will be a regular spot for me going forward.
Now for two minor points: The macaroni salad didnt taste like the ones in Hawaii (more like a typical mainland so I hope this improves..too much mayo with lack of flavor I wasnt a fan) and the katsu would be even better if there was a...
