Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Burleson

The food came out quick and really hot! However, this was our second time at this location and the order wasn’t quite right again.

The first time, we ordered a sandwich and it came out as a wrap. We were in a rush and didn’t say anything but ended up throwing the wrap out (it had too much condiment for a wrap). With the benefit of the doubt, we went again. Our order had included an ice water. It came out as just a cup of ice without water. We were eating in the car this time and let them know. They were really apologetic and quick in bringing out a new water. We also asked for extra honey mustard when we ordered and that wasn’t included when brought out either but they were quick in bringing it out when mentioned it wasn’t there.

I would have preferred to give 3.5 stars since it was twice in a row of not getting the order right but the food was good.

Where do I start, I paid dam near 20 I think? Fries weren't fully cooked, but also was stale i mean hard to chew stale.... 2nd , popcorn chicken half wasn't even chicken it was the crumble left over in the bags... 3rd I ordered a bacon cheeseburger " toaster" , and well it came out mushy, aka soggy. I mean really wet bread is called toast now??? Then there was 2 inches of uncut lettuce, and drenched in mayo, then I pulled said "toaster" apart and half the hamburger patty was missing??? I mean wth??? Now to add to the fire I took a bite of my chilli cheese tater tots, and I mean htf does tater tots become hard to chew even covered in chilli sauce, and cheese.... needless say sonic standards have dropped in my opnion. I used to love em.... I hope this experience is just a fluke I would not wish this on anyone. Yes I kept my 04/16/22 receipt from alsbury location bet my butt I did .... not cool ,...

I just don't know what is so hard to comprehend... When I go to Sonic I will order a cheeseburger with mustard. This blows minds away. I've tried to order it dry, or with no ketchup and mayo. This ensues a difficult dilemma. "So you want a cheeseburger with mustard only?" "No veggies just mustard?" My polite response is "No, please prepare it exactly the way it comes, just substitute all the sauces with mustard." Years ago you could simply order a number 1 or 2. A number one came with mayo and number 2 with mustard. Simple right? Well after countless efforts to order and enjoy one of my favorite nostalgic burgers. Employees just can not problem solve.
