Five Guys — Restaurant in Burnsville

Hadn't been to a Five Guys in quite some time and while always higher priced compared to other places, I about fell on the floor when the cost for a cheeseburger, little fry and regular sized soda came in at just over $18.

The burger and fries were excellent and much better than my previous experience at a different location, but the prices are a turn off and a reason I probably won't go back for quite some time. While it's great to be able to add any toppings you want at no additional cost, there's times when I just want a straight up, no frills kind of cheeseburger and when I factor that in, I can't justify it as much at that price point.

5 Stars for the burger and fries but only 1 star for the prices which leaves me leaving an overall 3 star rating.

Just lucky I didn't give it a 1 star overall rating because of the abomination that is the Coke...

Burger was good, however fries were underdone and do not taste like other location fries. Five guys is known for having crispy fries on the outside and nice and flakey in the inside. I don’t know if this location had got it right yet, their cooking staff needs to be trained a little bit more on the fries and how to prep them timely. I’ve seen all the reviews also discuss about the soggyness of the fries so I know it’s not just me feeling this.

I hope this location is paying attention to the reviews and does something about the fries because I would like to comeback and get food from this location since it’s near me and not have to drive all the way to get well done fries. Staff is also friendly but a little slow, I will give it time since this is new, but for the love of god get the fries...

I really enjoy 5 Guys, there is nothing like fresh cut potatoes for fries and a fresh cooked burger, nice a juicy. I feel like even though all food prices have gone up, this place has risen more than most. They have always been a little higher priced than most fast food, but getting this meal for one set me back $20. I used to eat a steak at Outback for that price. Also, I can still get a pretty big meal at McDonald's or several other venues for around $10. Granted this meal is a cut above, but I would eat at 5 Guys a lot more if I could do so for closer to half of this tab.
