The McDonald's on W. Main Street in Cabot is a cut above the normal McDonald's that are literally everywhere! The McDonald's food that I have ordered here is always Top-Notch. Numero Uno. First Class. Grade A. Fresh. Hot. Tender. Order Filled Perfectly. Delicious. Ice Cold Cola. McNuggets to Fight Over! Fries From Heaven!! Biscuits to Order by the Dozen!!😋🍔🍟🥤🍦🥓🌯🥚🥞🍧 The service here, by the mostly young staff, is really good. They're efficient, polite, happy, smiling as they work to take your orders. (This thought is from the times last year to early this year, when I would go inside to order food, you 'member, life as we knew it, Pre-C19? 😷🤒) Now in the era of anonymity by the necessity of some sort of lower face coverage, it has transported us from times of smiles to friends and strangers, alike, to an era devoid of emotions to those around us, except for our eyes. We have to search harder for ways to find a "friend's face", without the aid of the all important mouth to give us a complete picture of each individual. Okay, I'm off my soapbox!🗣 The Cabot McDonald's on W. Main Street is a tad more upscale than most of the McDonald's that you see around the state. First, it offers "Table Service"!!! Yes, I said TABLE SERVICE!!! Which means that you can take your excited, exhausted, hangry youngsters to the table. And in almost no time, a sweet person arrives with your food! No fighting your way through the ordering line. No having your kids going back up with you to help with the trays, or leaving them at the table while you go get your food. I believe that the Table Service runs for the dinner (supper) crowds from 7.00p.m. to 9.00p.m. only. Second, there's a large indoor playroom for parents who need to let the kids burn off some of their hyperactive energy before going home. The area also has a smattering of tables and chairs for parents to sit at while monitoring their child's activity. Third, if you prefer not to wait in the long lines inside to place your order, and it's pretty much straightforward, there are 2 Credit Card ordering kiosks to take advantage of! Get your usual food order placed and paid for in a matter of a few key strokes! Probably completed faster than the person who is at the register ordering! So, the bottom line is that the next time you are in Cabot, on West Main Street, and it is a virtual smorgasbord of who's who with fast food, you won't regret picking this familiar family favorite for generations...
Read moreI placed a breakfast mobile order for curbside pickup through their app. When I got to the restaurant, I pulled into curbside, but it would not allow me to check in curbside so I had to go through the drive thu which was very backed up. By the time I got to the speaker to check my order in.I was told that I could not get it because it was a breakfast order and it was now lunch. And i could get lunch if i wanted. And i couldn't get my money back so i could go somewhere else because it takes a couple days. So I asked to speak to the manager. I was told to pull into the first handicap parking space. I waited for the manager to come out to speak to me for fifteen minutes. An employee tried to bring me someone else's order And I told them I was waiting for the manager. I was told that the manager was now too busy to come Talk to me so I should come in. I told her that I was told to pull over here to wait for her. The window girl who told me to pull over here then came out and told me that the managers were online cooking and that I should come in and talk to them if I needed to. She said at the time I was at the window, the manager was beside her, but now she was too busy to come out and talk to me. My husband has terminal brain cancer. He only has the use of one hand. He can only eat things like wraps and burritos due to that. I left him at home by himself so I could come get us some breakfast curbside, so that I would not be gone long. And now not only have I been gone over 30 minutes. But i'm returning home with no food. This may not make a difference in to McDonald's bottom line. Cause, i'm just one little person, but that was an extremely crappy way to handle someone. I have been waiting for the manager now for 25 minutes and still no acknowledgement from either of them that I'm even here. Mcdonald's standards must be low for its management staff. I'm a general manager for another fast food restaurant in this town. If I treated a customer this way, I...
Read moreOrdered my usual (Daily Double burger)… they handed it to me with ketchup and mustard which is WRONG! I handed it back and stated that this was not a daily double because it’s not supposed to have ketchup and mustard on it. He asked his manager and she (Lydia) said that it did! So he comes back to the window and says,”well it DOES come with both of those.” I stated, “NO, IT DOES NOT, look it up, I’ve been ordering this for years, it’s my usual.” I then pulled up the app and PROVED I was correct! His (Chris) stated, “well we just go by what our mangers tell us because we don’t have a poster that tells us what on it” … Well why would someone become a manager of a restaurant that isn’t aware of what is on every item on there menu??? AFTER PROVING MY POINT BY SHOWING THEM THE APP THAT INCLUDED EVERYTHING THAT SHOULD BE ON THE BURGER, there was no apology. I again asked to speak to manager and she (Lydia) refused to talk to me through the window even though she was standing 4 feet away, where I could see her when they proceeded to tell me she was in the back and could not come to the window. They belittled me, disrespected me, and called me a liar! … This is unprofessional and NOT OK! I will be contacting corporate and making an official complaint! WHAT KIND OF MANAGER DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS ON A BURGER? … and how did you become a manager???…bottom of the barrel! Next time a restaurant wants to tell me that a burger is a certain way (WHEN IT CLEARY IS WRONG) you are not going to get a good response, especially when I can prove THE MANAGER IS...
