These guys don't know how to service anyone. I walk in after a long day's travel, I've been driving for 12 hours, so it didn't have the time to order anything online I just walked in and said I wanted to go order because I had to get back to the hotel where my traveling companions were staying. My mother and I, after placing our order, had probably waited in the lobby for roughly 20 to 30 minutes before our food was even brought out. In the meantime, I watched the employees standing outside talking and joking with each other smoking cigarettes and then leaning over another car just having a casual chat. This is probably the reason why I was waiting so long. And it's not like a ordered anything that has a long prep time. I ordered tomato basil soup, mozzarella sticks, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese, and a few drinks. All of which simply need to be heated up no more than a boil, this should only take 10 minutes max. When we finally got our food it was missing several items. It was missing the milk I had requested, it was missing the mozzarella sticks. And I had order the side of mac and cheese which I told them specifically to remove the bacon or I would not eat it because I am vegetarian. I definitely inspected every piece of food before leaving. The macaroni had bacon which I was pissed off about. I brought all of these concerns to their attention and another 5 minutes goes by and I am brought my milks and penne pasta with sprinkles of cheddar on top (not even melted yet, this is supposed to be a four cheese macaroni). When I turned around after inspecting everything to get my card I exclaimed it out loud 'where is my card?' and my server walks back with the card and another receipt in her hand along with the mozzarella sticks and she said that she needed the card to be able to charge me for the mozzarella sticks. I was double charged for the mozzarella sticks so I told them I wanted to refund and the server, Allie M, just walked away from me without even saying a word.. and her manager stepped up. He had an attitude too. He was basically ready to yell at me and he told me 'what do you want? Just tell me what you want' I told him that I just want a refund for my double charge and then I will leave, so he offered me cash or refund to the card and I took up the cash because I don't trust them to give me a refund to the card after the attitude that I had been getting from these people. I never got the chance to sign the receipt or give them a tip, I was absolutely going to give them a 0% tip and we'll see very soon if they decide to write in their own tip. Admittedly I was grumpy because I was traveling for so long, but that's something a manager should be able to handle. We ordered an appetizer and a dinner from the bar, that took forever.. the serve finally came over and mentioned he didn't know why my drink wasn't being made, . and when we got out appetizer the beer cheese was cold, like it just came out of the refrigerator. which at that point we ordered entrees..By 8:15 (roughly 45 minutes after entrees were ordered) we were looking for our server to check on our food. He told us we were still waiting on 3 out of 5 entrees... we asked him did the ticket not go in right away (as a past server I know things happen) he said right now the ticket time is 25 minutes, even though it had been 45 minutes since ordering.. we told him just to box it up because we were so irritated. The manager came out abs told us they were short staffed and we questioned why they didn't tell us that before waiting 45 minutes for food.. the manager shrugged us off. As we are waiting 4 tables that came in AFTER was was getting all of their food...We waited another 15 minutes to actually get out "Togo" food which my sides were missing... The server gave us the check. They didn't even offer to comp our app which was the least they could have done. We decided to bring it to the manager and he just kept telling us it's short staffed.. and that we had only been there for 25 minutes. Pretty unprofessional to argue with guest.
Finally we get home(I live 5 minutes from the restaurant) my steak is way over cooked and my sons chicken tenders were dry..
So disappointed with Applebee's and the way they handled this issue. Definitely...

The restaurant did not seem to be well staffed knowing that graduation was going on and Applebee's being 1-4 nice restaurants in the area. We had 3 different tickets in our party all ordering at the same time. 1 ticket got their food as you would expect but the other 2 tickets waited 2 hours for their food while still missing 2 meals. Our waitress said the issue was with the kitchen staff and eventually walked out of the building not to return. While the manager on duty did say he would take care of our meals but never came to the table to talk with us futher about the situation. Those in our party who had received their meal finished their food and then left. We also noticed a table of 8 beside us that was seated and served drinks but was never able to place the order so they also walked out.
This is really my first bad experience with this Applebee's. They do have great food and usually good service...That just wasn't...
