I picked up a UberEATS/ Postmates delivery order yesterday afternoon 04-27-23 around 2-2:30pm. The girl there asked me the name of the person for the delivery, while she was checking out someone else. I gave her the name and showed her the order, she looks at two bags behind the counter and quickly hands me one of the bags. I go out the door, and realize it's missing items on the receipt, and the receipt also says door dash not UberEATS/Postmates who I'm driving for. Now missing items or wrong orders can mean I get a thumbs down and no tip from the customer. I went back following another guy into the restaurant who I discover is another delivery driver, but he is delivering for door dash. And he tells her the same name I picked up for. She immediately grabs the remaining order behind the counter and gives it to him. I realize that she was giving him my order and I had his order. I quickly said that's mine you gave me the wrong order. She tries to argue with me acting like she had it right and I was in the wrong. I asked the other guy if he was delivering for door dash and he nods yes. I then tell him that I have his order because I'm delivering for UberEATS/Postmates and the receipt on my bag says door dash. Than the rude girl makes an excuse that they have the same name that's why she made the mistake, and then acts like it doesn't matter because it's probably going to the same person. I have went to several restaurants that had people with the same name, and they always verified the orders, and know it doesn't always mean it's for the same person. I didn't know there was two orders with the same name behind the counter, but she did know and still didn't verify the order. She clearly doesn't care if customers get their orders right, she should be fired. Knowing that a person like this works here and doesn't care about customer orders makes me never want to eat there myself. On March 24th, I ordered a giant original Italian sandwich without oil and vinegar, but with mayonnaise and pickles, mostly for my husband, who was doing a 24-hour overnight shift at the hospital. When I tried to eat my portion, I realized they had forgotten the mayonnaise and pickles, making the sandwich dry and unappetizing. I called the shop, and they assured me they would remake the sandwich.
However, when I arrived to pick up the replacement, the staff completely changed their attitude. I was ignored when I initially inquired about the order and was then told they couldn’t remake a giant sandwich due to "system issues" and could only make me a regular-sized one. When I explained that it was their mistake and I ordered a giant sandwich, they asked me to return the previous one. Since I had already dropped off most of the sandwich to my husband at the hospital, I only had a small portion left to show them the error.
