This place is as mid as mid gets. $80 for a small pizza, two sandwiches, a side of fries and 3 drinks. The pizza was fine. No real complaint with it. The eggplant parm sando was the greasyest pile of I don't know what. It wasn't the cheese either, it was the eggplant. Just a flavorless greasy pile of mush. I included a photo of the sandwich basket. Not sure if the grease really registers. My son had the pastrami sandwich. The place has "Deli" in the name so that implies they make sandwiches. Right? Pastrami was dry as a bone. No sauce in there at all. I will say the fries were actually very good, so that was a bright spot. The kids working here could not have cared less. I asked a couple of questions about the menu items and the girl at the register didn't seem to know much. It would seem like you should at least know something about the food if you work there. So, if you're going to eat here, don't expect to be blown away. It's close to the resort and contains calories. If you're coming here, just order a pizza and some fries. The sandwiches suck.

Tried to call in an order and the automatic answering system told me to place an order online. Placed my order on line and was very pleased with the speed it was built - being a Saturday at prime time. The problem is with the online ordering system. I placed an order for medium 3 topping pizza for 30 bucks with tip. No problem. I walk to my car and take a peek at the pizza and only half the pizza has 3 toppings. I did not select 1/2 toppings nor does my emailed receipt indicate I requested 1/2 toppings. Went back in to ask what happened and I'm shown the order ticket that does show 1/2 toppings. Showed my email to the counter girl and she just shrugged her shoulders and insisted this was my order. 30 bucks for 1/2 the pizza I ordered is bit steep. Very bad first experience being a local. I'll remember to buy pizza before I make my way up the hill. I know one person doesn't make a bit of difference when you have hungry tourists to feed.

One of our favorite places to have dinner while staying at the Lake Arrowhead Resort is at Village Pizza. They have everything from pizza, salads, and burgers. When you first arrive, you'll need to place your order at the counter. Then, find a table, and relax. While staying in Lake Arrowhead recently, we walked over to have dinner at the popular pizza place. There was a line out the door, and our kids played in the arcade while we waited to place our order. We started with the mozzarella sticks - so tasty. A large pepperoni pizza then followed it. The kids devoured every last bite of the pizza not leaving a crumb behind. The restaurant offers tasty pizza in a fun family-friendly ambiance. It is a must when staying in Lake Arrowhead.

I wished I had read the reviews before going! Went with the family on a Sunday evening. My wife and I ordered sandwiches, Turkey and Philly CheeseMistake (yeah don't ever get that). The rest of the family ordered separately and after us, 3 pizzas and a salad. Pizza came out in 15-20 minutes but salad took 40 minutes. Salad, takes 40 minutes to make? How? Lettuce takes longer to grow...maybe they had to go to Stater Bros to buy it, who knows but it should not take 40 minutes to make a salad and it should have come out with the pizza. (Oh! Surprise they got the salad wrong) Now on to my order. I let another 5 minutes pass, now 45 minutes it total, I go to see what is taking so long, everyone else has finished eating their pizza (niece is debating whether to eat the wrong salad). The young girl at the register claims they are really backed up with orders. Well Sh**! I placed my order 45 minutes ago and other customers are getting their pizzas. Finally another young lady ask if I have been helped. Asked her how long does it take to make 2 sandwiches - "can't be 45 minutes that's just crazy". She goes back to the kitchen and checks and comes out and says they are backed up with a lot of tickets. "Yeah but, I ordered my food ahead of others who are getting theirs, how does that work?" She stated that they only have 3 people in the back and 2 are working on pizzas and the girl is really behind on the sandwiches. Told her I did not understand how you can't get food out faster, especially a sandwich - 1 is a cold sandwich and the other hot. I finally ask if she is the manager and she say yes (way to NOT volunteer that information - step up to the plate. You're the one in charge!) Just waits for me to say more, no apologies, can I get you a free drink, nothing. I tell her that this is crazy that it has taken so long and ask for my money back. (Oh thank God I got my money back) After handing back my money she says the sandwiches are done and do I want them. I tell her yes if she wants to give them to me (as in free). The way she said it, I thought she might want the money back. Got them to go since everyone else was now done eating. We did stay and sit down outside with the family and they watched us eat.The turkey sandwich on wheat was good. The Philly CheeseMistake was NOT. No flavor!! Meat was bland, took 2 bites, asked my wife to take a bite, wasn't sure I wasn't being overly critical give the level of dissatisfaction I already had of the place. Nope the Philly CheeseMistake really really really sucked! Good news is that the next time I come up to visit my sister or ride my motorcycle up I won't be eating at this place. Please save your money because it is way overpriced and go anywhere else in the Village to eat. McDonald's has better food! just...

I had the worse experience with my order. After ordering extra ranch for 3 orders of wings I come to find out they did not even give me enough for ONE actual single wing, due to no ranch at all .I also had two sandwiches with 2 orders of fries which also did not come with it's condiment, ketchup. When I went to pick up the order I asked the lady if they had added my extra order of ranch, she then replied twice that it was in the bag.once I got home I noticed that she did not add any ranch nor ketchup. I called back and spoke to The "Manager" and was told he couldn't do anything towards the situation and that he will not send a driver with some ranch because he feels that's not of importance to him. my total bill was$90.00 plus I still left them a good tip and feel any customer should be important regardless of the amount spent. when I told him if that was his professional way to handle this situation his response was, you should have checked your order. With a loud rude tone.! He move on to tell me he could care less about it when I asked him if their was another Manager that I could speak to above him. Then he moved on to tell me I'll be here tomorrow and you can do whatever you want because it doesn't Matter. He sure was not showing like he cares about Customer service and what this might bring to the business. I strongly suggest not to give any business to a place that is Managed by "Jason " ! I would have not given a star but the one star is just for the rest of employees that have no control over who gets put in charge of the representation of...

Went here for the first time just yesterday. It was crazy busy, on a Wednesday afternoon at 2:00. Definitely a popular spot. Which was a good sign for late December! I liked the ordering system for the adult beverages. We were able to order drinks at the main register with the rest if our order, and immediately pick them up at the bar counter. No waiting other than the initial line to order food. Drink prices were reasonable. I get wine everywhere I go, even pizza (don't like beer). It was $6 something per glass. Compared to most restaurants this isn't bad. And it was decent. The fries are great because they are lightly seasoned with ... I don't even know...something salty and slightly sweet like a bbq season or Cajun but not spicy. My son the French fry connoisseur, said they're his favorite ever. I wouldn't go that far, but I liked them. The pizza is for real my favorite. We got a veggie pizza with Alfredo. So I can't speak to the red sauce. But that pizza was sooooo good. I think its the crust. Crunchy on the bottom and outside, soft in the middle of the crust. Not too big of a crust around the outside. And it had a buttery, lightly salted flavor that made it so good to eat by itself. We will definitely come back because we all loved it. As for service, it's a pizza place, not a typical dine-in restaurant. You get a table number, and they bring g your pizza. But they were nice, and helpful, brought extra...
