Big On Bears Lake Arrowhead — Local services in Lake Arrowhead

Shameful customer service provided by the manager. We purchased several items of clothing for our family while on vacation in Lake Arrowhead. The next morning we noticed a large hole along a seam in the brand new sweatshirt we purchased for my wife. We went to return it and were told "no returns - exchanges only." I explained that there was nothing else in the store that we wanted, and that we had paid for a new, undamaged sweatshirt and received a damaged sweatshirt. The manager didn't care, and abruptly cut me off when I tried to explain that: 1) she couldn't force us to exchange it for something we didn't want; and 2) her store policy violated the basic rules of a contract - we held up our end of the bargain (by paying for a new sweatshirt) and she didn't (by providing a damaged sweatshirt). The manager became very angry and told us she was not going to allow us to return it. During her angry tirade, she had the gall to tell me she runs a "mom and pop" business and her customer service is excellent. I was shocked at her reaction, to say the least. I would much rather support a mom-and-pop shop than a huge corporation (I could have purchased these same items at Amazon, and I wish I had). However, the manager of this mom-and-pop shop should be ashamed of herself. It was a needlessly painful customer...

Super cute shop with lots of whimsical yet practical gifts. Comfy T-shirts and warm hoodies, as well as cute pajamas, socks, and a wall of ADULT ONESIES. Hilarious bear slippers and bear claw gloves. Knick-knacks, stuffed animals and Christmas ornaments. And it's not just bears. There's also other fun woodland creatures to cuddle such as Moose, Deer, Squirrels, Foxes, Eagles, Raccoons and Owls. A great kids/toddler section with the most adorable T-shirts and woodland baby onesies! The ladies who work there are super friendly and fun to talk to about local lore. Reasonable prices....

We visit this place twice and the lady that works there never greeted us once, we wanted to buy clothes and suveniers but didn't get to shop here because we couldn't ask anything, she was too busy talking to a guy that was not buying anything. Then we walked over Stater Bros and found 2 beautiful mugs and keychains for the price of 1 mug at this place and it wasn't even that good of the quality to say it's worth it to shop here with a poor customer service, no thanks. Take your money somewhere else they care to serve you and appreciate you as a customer. Zero stars to...
