The overall experience was worst than terrible. Think of fast food set up, without the fast food service. Horrible service, food, and overall experience. This review outlines significant issues with the service, food quality, and cleanliness of the establishment.
You enter the establishment only to read a sign directing you to go to the bar. There were no host or hostess to greet you. You have to excuse yourself through the line to get to the front just to obtain a menu. You then walk back to the end of the line to review the menu and decide on your order. If you are smart, you would wait in line as you review the menu. Unfortunately, I witnessed many patrons who stood at the side to review the menu only to find out that you must also wait in line to order the food. As you wait in line all you hear are the confusion and frustrations felt by each patron. After enduring the inefficiency and frustrating environment, you finally get to the front of the line where a person would take your order and give you a number. If you ordered an alcoholic beverage, the person would give you the drink before leaving the bar. But if you ordered a non alcoholic beverage, you are given the cup(s) to fill up at the self serve fountain drinks station. Hopefully you have a small enough party that you can carry the drinks to your table with your hands. Otherwise it is back and forth to the fountain drink machine for your party.
The service model is counterintuitive and inefficient. This approach lacks customer service and forces customers into a "self service experience" - which leads me to wonder why even give a tip? Additionally, the self-service nature of the restaurant is particularly problematic for patrons with a dog, as they are required to leave their pet unsupervised on the patio to go inside and place their order.
Wait times for food are excessive. After waiting almost 30 minutes, the food delivered was of extremely poor quality. The dishes, such as the chicken tenders and fish, appeared to be store-bought items from the frozen section of the grocery store. The accompanying fries were cold and stale, suggesting they were cooked well before the rest of the meal was ready.
Furthermore, the restaurant's hygiene is a major concern. Both the indoor and outdoor tables were sticky and unclean, and the menus were no better. Trash was scattered on the floor and the patio had a foul, trash, and sewer-like smell, detracting significantly from the dining experience.
Overall, the combination of a flawed service model, subpar food, and a lack of cleanliness makes this a very disappointing establishment that I would not recommend going to.

Read moreWhile on vacation my family and I were trying to find a place to eat that wasn't too formal or expensive, but we weren't having very much luck. Then we saw Jetties pop up on a list of restaurants on google, so we decided to give it a try. It was a bit frustrating at first trying to find an open table and also figuring out that they did not have waiters to take your order, but once we got a place to sit and realized you have to order at the bar we were able to sit back and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake that was right out the window. The restaurant itself had a bright, family-friendly vibe and was pretty nice. The menu looked very impressive and although the prices were a little on the higher end, once we received our meals we could not believe the quality of the food that we received. In all honesty, these were some of the best burgers we have ever had, anywhere. It was VERY clear that they took their menu very seriously and spent a significant amount of time perfecting their flavor profiles. The ingredients were also of very high quality, using wagyu beef patties and thick cut bacon, along with generous portions of fries and sauces that propelled the flavors in your mouth. We were absolutely impressed by every item that we purchased and could not stop talking about how delicious each of our meals were. If they could just find a way to change the service set-up to make it easier on the customers this place would be phenomenal. Now, my family and I are trying to figure out how we can get back up there to indulge in some more superb elevated...
Read moreThis is a late overdue review, but I made sure to save the receipt to remind me momentarily of my negative experience I had on August 16, 2024 at 2:04PM. The restaurant is in a decent location along the water with some decent views. Indoor and outdoor seating. Open seating, first come first serve. When you enter, you have to go to the bar to order your food and drinks. There is no hostess to direct you where to go so it's a bit confusing especially if it's your first time there. Very non traditional for a restaurant in a high traffic tourist location. The food was subpar and pricey but the service was the worst. We were waiting in line to order behind a gentleman at the bar. The lady who took his order was smiling and quite attentive. After he ordered, the same woman did not give us the same courtesy as the previous customer. She looked as if she wanted to avoid serving us. Unenthusiastic and annoyed. I wasn't even sure if she was going to take our order. She didn't even acknowledge us or say hello. What was also frustrating was that you had to pay for your food upfront before being served. So you are expected to tip at the same time before your food even arrives. Service was a disappointment and we will not be eating at this establishment again due to the noticeable unequal treatment of customers that was observed immediately. The name on the receipt of the server was Kiarstin. May I suggest retraining on treating all customers the same, regardless...
