I went to this DD first thing in the AM as I am commuting to work from out of town temporarily this week. When I got there I ordered an energy cold brew with a french vanilla swirl and a blueberry shot with extra cream. I had gotten my drink and it had tasted very bitter so I asked for a little more cream to remedy this. The lady behind the counter pitched a fit about how she "put 5 creams in already" and then debated with me plus lectured me about how espresso makes the drink look darker which I'm fully aware of it but it was way darker than when I went to virtually any other dunkins. I ordered the same thing I order every morning and only at the Alewife dunkins did I have a problem making this request. This woman had a horrible attitude over fixing my drink. When a customer makes a request especially when they ask nicely don't argue with them as people pay for those drinks with their money. Not to mention the flavoring of my cold brew was messed up, too. I will gladly go to another dunkins...
Read moreThey're often understaffed and I'm pretty sure the receipt thing runs out of paper on the regular but dang do they CRANK out orders during rush hour. I've never waited more than 3-5 minutes maximum and it's always correct. Most people who say that it's slow seem to forget that they're pumping out custom walk-in orders AND online orders at fast-food speeds, and honestly, most of them get their orders in a few minutes. The staff is also super nice and are always making accommodations to get the line cleared. I order from there a lot and the lady at the counter is inspiring--she's going at warp speed, is getting yelled at by customers, and yet she just rolls with it and still has the energy to remember me and say hi to me. If she can manage the craziness every day, then I can make it, too.
I really appreciate this place & wish I...
Read moreSecond time I missed my train because they moved the pick up location behind the counter. You have to wait for one of the very busy employees to stop what they’re doing to get you the order. They almost always have to have their back to all the customers waiting to pick up their mobile orders. This was a very poor decision and I can’t understand the rationale. If it’s theft, that’s built into the cost. Loss is something unfortunate you deal with in business. What you don’t do is alienate the paying loyal customer because of 1 bad egg. This seams like bad decision by management. Oh well, there are about 100 more locations on my way to work. Shame because I always liked all the kind employees at...
