I visited Cambridge from Canada last week, and I have multiple food allergies which makes eating while on vacation very tough. The bartender was very welcoming and my husband and I were able to enjoy a nice lunch at this cozy pub. The staff even wrote down a list of food options from their menu that would be alright for me to have which was super helpful in making my selection. I settled for the hummus platter which was really huge, and my husband decided on a burger. The food was quite good, and I had no issues at all. We really appreciated the bartender's attitude too, as we did not order any alcoholic drinks and were mainly looking for a place where I could eat lunch! The service received was friendly and attentive, and I definitely will go back once I am in the area again. It seems like it would be a neat place to hang out with friends over some food and drinks. Read moreShay’s Pub is a gem. It’s the kind of place you walk into once and instantly know you’ll be coming back. The vibe is calm, friendly, and just right for chilling out, having real conversations, and unwinding after a long day.
The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. Sean really stood out—he was busy as hell but somehow kept everything under control. You can tell he’s been doing this for a while because everything he did was smooth and on point. He made me feel taken care of, even in the middle of the rush.

He gave everyone in the bar a free holiday shot of their preference. I opted out of the shot and asked for a sweet drink the bartender suggested a lemon drop... it was pretty good more tart than sweet. I couldn't leave without sampling the menu. Everyone looked as if they were enjoying their selections so I wasn't surprised when my food was presented to me that it looked like it was made in a hi end restaurant. It was quite flavorful as well. The place is very small but very welcoming. If you want to go to a low key spot for a quiet date night this is a very good spot to try out. It's located in Cambridge near...
