Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Campbell

I was idling at the parking lot for about 10-15 mins waiting for my friend's call to place an order on the app (I personally find it easier using the app than speaking to someone at drive-thru).

One of the employees came out for a smoke break and was starring at my car suspiciously. I told him that I'm going to pick up the order as soon as I receive my friend's call.

After I placed the order, I drove straight up to the window mistakenly but no one acknowledged me for 5 mins. I decided to drive out. I realized I had to make a u-turn to start over the drive-thru process!

The guy who served me was the employee who starred at my car suspiciously.

When I asked for sauce for all my side orders (mini tacos, egg rolls, curly fries, etc) he bluntly said "for what" I gave him a ridiculous look and said "for my side orders" he then goes "which one" ok, do you not review the items before you hand out the order!? It's common sense to ask a customer "do you need any sauce or napkins?"

Anyway, he dumped the sauces into my hand with full of attitude then walked away.

Do you not know how to say "thank you"..??

My sandwich was supposed have onion rings in it but that was missing. No napkins too, it was hellaaaaaaaa frustrating lol

I want to start this review by saying I understand what Jack in the Box is. What drive through fast food is. I don't have unreasonably high expectations. I would consider myself very lenient when it comes to what I want from fast food. That being said this specific location has gone down hill DRASTICALLY. I don't know if they changed owners or what the case is but the customer service is horrible and they are very rude. The quality of the food has had a drastic decline over the years I have gone to this location. And the appearance and cleanliness is horrible. I strongly recommend you just avoid their bathrooms. Makes me wonder how their kitchen area is maintained. I would suggest taking the extra 5 minuets and drive to the 1301 Camden Ave locations and you still see a vastly notable difference. Again, my expectations are reasonable what tipped me over the edge to write this review as opposed to just let it go was that I asked for their Avocado dip. A simple request, you would imagine. Obviously not as the associate at the drive through just said "No". My assumption was a language barrier so I just said okay how about ranch. Again, just "No." Then he closed the window essentially in my face. This location is a bit strange. Like most Jack in the Box restaurants, you get a mixed clientele and this one was no exception. There were some characters here and I suppose that is why the staff were a little indifferent and standoffish. Normally, I get a smile and pleasant attitude at most Jack in the Box, but not today. I did get the Classic Buttery Jack sandwich and it was pretty good. The darned thing was messy to eat. Delicious fat was leaking out of it, mmmm. This was my first time trying it and I was impressed with the flavor. I did think it was kind of small, especially when you grip it and the bun flattens out. I was still hungry after and I ordered the two tacos for 99 cents. Now that was filling. I don't know what's in those tacos, but they are my favorite menu item. What was not so cool about this location, aside from the weird customers, was the fly buzzing the front of the restaurant and landing on their stainless steel equipment. That was not a good sight. The second thing was noticing that the restaurant was a little shabby and could use some fresh red pain where it was chipped.
