One Starbucks, two Starbucks, three Starbucks, four...Yeah that's kind of true, but as with pretty much everything else, not all of these overtly overpriced coffee slingers are created equal. We're going to keep this one short and sweet.
This particular Starbucks location is very busy just purely based on where it's at. Ford Road is rarely quiet, so in return this Starbucks is rarely quiet. There will almost always be some sort of line in the drive thru, so just plan accordingly—no need to get all bent out of shape because you're running late, but are craving that latte like your favorite houseplants crave the morning sunshine. While we're on the subject of the drive thru in general, I would like to say that I have only ever used the drive thru here, so I cannot speak on anything regarding how things work when you venture inside of this location.
Depending on which Starbucks locations you frequent the most, you've probably come across a few that have some very congested parking lots that have the drive thru line running through them, very little parking, and just an overall confusing layout that then causes confusion for the customers that lack common sense. You'll be happy to know that this won't be the case if you stop here. There is plenty of parking out front of this location if you are planning to venture inside, and the drive thru line runs around the back of the building so the line that is often there, doesn't get in the way of you or anyone else trying to navigate the parking lot. There is also more parking behind this location, but I don't see any reason as to why you'd have to park back there just to grab your coffee.
When all is said and done, this location is one of my favorite Starbucks locations to visit in this area. The staff here is friendly, professional, and they work very quickly. Their order accuracy is top notch, as I don't think I have ever had an incorrect order, or anything missing from any of my orders. As I previously mentioned, this location gets very busy in the drive thru, but even with a full line down the back of the building it doesn't take more than five minutes or so to place your order, then then maybe two or three more minutes to pay and get on your way. They really do work quickly and with great accuracy.
This is a great place to overly caffeinate yourself so you can brave the giant Swedish furniture maze that lives across the street. Thank me...
Read moreThe best thing I can say about this Starbucks is that the cashier was super nice and friendly. Where to begin afterwards, I was watching the barista make drinks, she did not clean the steam wand in between each drink (which is a health violation, not to mention super gross), it took them 20 mins to make 4 drinks. It should not take that long to make four drinks. I was not offered a drink carrier for my order when clearly it would have called for one. The Java chip frap I ordered did not have chocolate drizzle on it, everything with chips in a frap gets drizzle, one of my drinks did not come with whipped cream even though I specialize asked for it. Another frap was a soy milk based drink but was made in the dairy blender (another health violation). Luckily, the person ordering the drink did not have any allergies. The manager offered to make another one but I did not have time to wait. Lastly my drink, the lid was cracked when handed to me. I work at a different Starbucks and needless to say I was very disappointed in the way this one was operated. When I talked to my follow Starbucks employees about it, they all asked why I would go to this one, everyone avoids it. Now I know why and will always be following...
Read moreThis Starbucks is the nastiest location I’ve ever been to. I ordered a refresher and received a refresher with 3 fruit flies infused in my drink. I immediately went back once I noticed them floating under the foam (barf). The woman at the counter said there was no manager available but I could speak to her instead. She said oh sorry and began to load up $4 complementary cards in silence without even explaining what she was going to do, like I was an inconvenience to her in that moment. She said oh I’ll make sure to use a clean shaker to remake the drink. I thought to myself wait? So I received a dirty fruit fly infested shaker to make my original drink that had already taken 3 sips from (double barf). While she’s remaking it I take a quick glance at the bakery items in the glass container and there is a swarm of fruit flies in there just buzzing around! Once she hands my drink, I’m like do you see what’s in the glass container? She’s like oh well I guess I’ll let the people in the back know. LMFAOOOOO
I live 0.1 mile away from this location, but I will drive to the ford and lots location to get what I need from that moment on. Never again. I was absolutely disgusted. Where is the...
