I went because they overcharged me for my daughter's 7th birthday party! What should have been $256 ended up being $363. They were supposed to go back to find the original receipt and instead brought me back this typed up itemized receipt! Half of which I don't remember ordered in the first place! I never signed a copy of the receipt which left me VERY unsettled! I wanted to leave the waitress whom was very helpful and super polite a tip and did not have that ability on the receipt. When asked they said that was not an option they had! First restaurant in a good 20 years I had been to that did not have that ability! I felt horrible for her!
The daughter and her friends were supposed to get cups that they could bring back to the restaurant. They to this day have not received those cups. I couldn't believe the cups after weeks of this party happening not being there. They still had no set date. She just said to call back in a few weeks. The only reason I paid for that expensive rate per kid WAS was those CUPS!!!
IF I would have known that the restaurant would have looked better then versus a month later (It still was not complete) I would have waited until August to have her party. When we were there they hardly had anything for a 7yo to do. She just kept walking about to the same five or six games.
Oh not to mention I called this location five or six times in a panic about my credit card being over billed. I had also called six or seven times in a month's time span before my daughter's party to see about a cake. THEY NEVER ANSWERED ANY OF THE TIMES I CALLED!!! I had to drive an hour there and an hour back the day I wanted to find out about being over billed and I also had to just splurge and BUY MORE CAKE THAN I NEEDED!! I hate Chuck E Cheese at this point!!! I refuse to ever go there again! I'll hire entertainers and have them at my house from now on!!!...
Read moreAlicia the manager is very rude Very racist Each time I went to the counter to get serviced she was so rude and I couldn’t understand why. So I just assume this young lady is racist! I only went to the counter once to purchase socks and a wrist band, second time to retrieve our wining tickets from our cards. I spent over $100 just for 2 kids for an hour! She refused to allow my Autistic child to pick out his choice of toys with his wining tickets. I had waited behind 7 parents and children. She gets to me and walks off. Not only walks out but I start to get a vibe this young lady does not want to service me. She should be fired and my children were upset. I always leave with tickets on my children play cards. I stood in line something I typically do not do the boys are usually just ready to go. Today we decided to wait to redeem our wining tickets. Only to be met by rude Alicia the “manager”. She has control issues. This young lady was servicing all the customers by herself. I never been to a Chuck E Cheese and only one cashier. Over 100 people inside. She created lines and half wanted to service customers (a few people were complaining). She even made a party wait to pay for their $600 order. In which they also told her she was being rude. I will be contacting corporate was well. She also said she does not care if I contact corporate . Also, because she was the only person of power on the shift she used her power of authority over others. The workers seemed to also be irritated by her staying far away in the back. I had to leave without my son being able to retrieve his tickets which were...
Read moreSo I run a YouTube channel documenting retail museums roadside attractions and more. I recently took a trip to this location to relive my childhood and see what had become of the place. Yup this was my Chuck E. Cheese in the early 90s. I even have video of what it looked like back then over on my channel tilted tripod media. The service and food were still great like I remembered. Unfortunately the nostalgia and charm are gone. I’m glad they still have some kind of animatronics but they’re nothing like the 90s ones. It’s been sad watching the slow removal of the indoor playgrounds and the animatronics. I feel things are degrading and I wish they had just expanded upon what they had in the 90s instead of removing it. But even though it’s not what it use to be and I have no kids I still enjoy popping in for a slice of pizza every now and then. If you want to experience Chuck E. Cheese at its peak check out my YouTube or head over to Billy bobs wonderland in West Virginia it’s like going back in time. Anyway thanks for all the good memories and being there through my childhood I wish you a bright future. I knocked off one star since it’s loosing its charm it once had. Oh and I do love the timed passes and wish more arcades implemented...
