We go to this BWW location often, at least once a month. Most of the time we have a good experience and great service. The last several times that has not been the case. Two weeks ago we came here with friends and their son for a birthday dinner for my son. We were a party of seven. Our server was sweet but service was very slow and the restaurant was not busy. It wasn’t a big deal but we usually have better service. I figured they were just short staffed. On the way out hostess Mady was literally following us out the door begging us for a piece of our sons leftover birthday cake which I found odd and unprofessional. It was 10pm and we had been there to long and our kids were tired and starting to meltdown. We just wanted to leave.
Tonight we came around 8pm with me my husband and younger son. I requested a booth and was told they only had one in the bar area and they needed to clean it. Not a problem at all and I expressed my appreciation. Dahlia was our server and started out great but after we put our order in she was non existent and only paid attention to the ten person party behind us. My husband ordered six wings which came with two sauce choices. They came out without the sauce on and instead had the sauce to the side. He sent them back to have the sauce put on. A few minutes later Dahlia comes to our table and states my husband can only have one sauce put on not to. Why was this not explained when we ordered? I mean this is bdubs we can’t have two different sauces put on wings at a place known for wings and the menu says pick up to two sauces? WTH. After that interaction dahlia continued to give her undivided attention to the party behind us. My husband got a water refill from her without asking but I somehow didn’t despite my cup sitting empty on the edge of the table. She walked by it at least six times and somehow never saw it. I am really tired of giving my business to places and receiving mediocre service. We usually always tip well even when the service isn’t great. That wasn’t the case tonight. We only tipped ten percent. Everything is gone up in cost. We don’t have as much disposable income and I’m tired of trying to support places that don’t care about customer service. If this continues we won’t be back. Food was good but it would be nice to go somewhere where both the food and service are great. Oh and Mady was back tonight. This time handing out hello kitty stickers to hostess joslyn. Real...
Read moreI recently visited Buffalo Wild Wings and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. From start to finish, it was a letdown. The service was abysmally slow despite the restaurant being only half full. We waited nearly 15 minutes just to get our drinks, and another 30 minutes for our food. After we got our food the waitress told us the kitchen closes at 10:45 and it was 10:15. We were there to do the all you can eat and online it says they close at 12am. So at the time when we got there at 9:30 we were thinking we had at least 2 hours to eat. But after 45 minutes to get our first order we only had 30 minutes. At this point I wanted to talk to the manager to see what was going on and how we could get any value out of this all you can eat deal. The manager and he explained to us that we could older 2 at a time and then he would also let us take 2 orders to go to make up for the poor service and miscommunication. We also had to ask for silverware twice and then were given plastic takeout forks. After finishing our order it was already 10:25 and our waitress was no where to be found it. We had to wait another 10 minutes to just place another order. But when our waitress came around she had no idea what we were talking about and told us she had never talked to him. She was also giving attitude from almost the start. So after all that we just wanted to pay for the 10 wings we ordered and leave. I told our waitress this and she said “I can try, but you are going to pay for the fries” in a rude condescending voice. To which I wanted to speak to the manager again and she said she would get him but never did. They ended up talking and making it able to pay for our 10 wings. When we got our bill we were charged $3.49 for water! I then went to the manager myself and he told me the waitress was new and didn’t know. WHAT PLACE EVER CHARGES FOR WATER. That should be common sense but I guess that is what most people are lacking.
Given the high prices, I expected much better. Unfortunately, Buffalo Wild Wings failed to deliver on almost every front. I won’t be returning anytime soon and would advise others to look elsewhere for a better dining experience. Wing Fellas in Dearborn is much better and gives way...
Read moreThe only reason this place got 2 stars was because of our server. Took 7 minutes to seat us as Dimitre stared blanky at the dining room looking the abundant seating as if they were busy and we had nowhere to go. When we finally sit down, it takes 45 minutes from the time we order to get our onion rings and 2 orders of boneless, only for them to be lukewarm. Then Jeff H, the best manager this place has to offer, tells me that if I eat my cold wings I'm paying for them, as if I have another 40 minutes to wait - he tells us 2 minutes for new wings and thank goodness it is 2, because if it were any longer he would have worn whatever he brought out. They were in the holding area so I just wonder whose wings he took to give us these "fresher" ones.
If it seems like I'm coming off as a supreme dick, it's because I am. No one is going to tell me I'm paying for crappy food after you make me wait for it. I had absolutely no confidence that he would have brought out better ones after my experience, and you know I wouldn't have been been mad if he did NOT tell me I was paying for cold food if I wasn't interested in waiting again. His approach alone ruined the majority of my experience. Not how you handle guests who've been waiting 40 minutes when they are well aware your average ticket times are 12 to 15. I was frustrated and hungry and he made it worse, forget the fact he fixed it. Our waitress told us she would take it off, and he made the executive decision to come out and tell me "I'll get you fresh ones, if you eat those we're charging you for them". I paid for them either way JEFF, you dense turd.
Tabitha took care us. She offered to get the other manager, we declined, and because of the wait, our food cold, and Jeff's brilliant guest service, she took them off anyway telling us "he can yell at her, this was the right thing to do". Jeff, you better not yell at her at all.
Everyone in the restaurant industry says millenials are killing casual dining - here's another thought for ya BDubs, take a look at your managers and if i were you I'd start second guessing those studies. It's called "suicide", and you're about an inch deep.
All I wanted to do was come support my...
