Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in Cape Coral

Reallllly loved the concept and was excited to try. I had helped open the jersey mikes next door so to say I was waiting a while was an understatement. We decided to stop in for a late lunch the other day close to 2pm and the place was pretty busy with about 4 people ahead of us....we were there for about a half hour waiting for them to make our food. The chick on the grill kept dropping people's food making it take even longer. The gal that asked what we want looked sweaty and stressed and wasn't very kind or personable at all. The one that built our food for us was also not very easy to talk to and kept having to re wrap stuff or use more Tortilla and she just generally took forever. They didn't ask if we wanted to dine in so the cashier had to put my partners bowl in a to go box which was mega weird since she had no gloves on...it was overall a very underwhelming experience. I got the house salsa on my burrito and it literally tasted like nothing so if you go definitely make sure you get one of their extra sauces added. I had to add something at home to make it taste like something other than rice and beans. They charge a LOT just to have shrimp on your bowl and it wasn't even fresh it was just heated up. I’ve been a Koos customer since they opened up in Jersey. When I moved from Jersey to Florida, I missed them so much. So when I found out one opened in Cape Coral, I was excited & came right in. We ordered & the food was good. However, the customer service was lacking. The girl with the heavy eye liner, gauges, piercings & tattoos was very rude. The vibe was off from the very beginning with her but I ignored it & kept it pushing. The next customer came in with his family & he was in a visibly good mood. He ended up leaving because of the employees attitude, stating that he’s not spending his money there. I don’t blame him at all. After he left, she played the victim to her co worker, acting like she didn’t have an obvious attitude. The next few customers came in & she did not greet them at all. Next, two customers came in & all employees were in the back so they didn’t know anyone walked in. The men stood there for a while & still no one came out. Finally the girl came out, she didn’t acknowledge them, she just finished talking to her co worker. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it seemed more like she just had poor people & customer service skills. Also, the music was way too loud & employees weren’t wearing hair nets which I thought was unsanitary while handling...

Ordered on Uber. I never had their food before. The delivery person did a good job, so I know by the bags presentation he wasn't the one that dumped the food because the taco salad was the only item that looked kicked across the kitchen before it was put in the bag or maybe dropped and just picked up and put in the bag! The best part of this meal was the cheese fries and bottled Pepsi! I just wasted $120.00! I usually give the benefit of the doubt and don't post negative reviews because sometimes businesses suffer but the box the taco salad came in is nasty has food on the outside like it was dropped and wiped off. I know it wasn't the delivery person because the other boxes didn't look like this and the bag wasn't nasty. The ingredients weren't what I ordered and I asked for the shell to be on the side so it wouldn't be soggy, I also tipped more for the inconvenience of wanting the items on the side by the look of the taco salad was like it was kicked around before my delivery driver got it! Very disappointing I was hoping for way better! The tacos were dry, flour tortilla were soaking wet and the chips inside the taco container had to be trashed they were just as wet and soggy...
