Oceanview Restaurant — Restaurant in Cape May

As of 7:45pm on July 26th of 2021, my mother and I had ordered the stuffed shrimp on the menu. At the bottom the the section, it said that the meal came with the choice of a soup or salad, (1) vegetable of your choice, and dessert. The meal was delicious, but thinking about dessert I saved some room. The waitress came up as we finished our main course and asked if we had any room for dessert and I responded with an assuring "yes". She then proceeded to ask if we had any of the specials and we said "no". She added that only the specials come with dessert. With the menu clearly stating that we should've received dessert with our meal (look at your menu for proof), I was robbed of your delicious dessert which I usually get when I typically order the stuffed flounder on the SAME SECTION of the menu. I am in utmost confusion with the menu and the waitress saying different things. I am quite disgusted and I'm sure that if other people start to recognize this, they'll be quite disgusted as well. Either the menu has to be revised or the waitress was incorrect. The waitress didn't recall what we had for dinner and she said I quote "the easy table" when she brought our food out. A very nice place to grab a quick bite me and my family went there, we got the soups and appitizers, witch came out about 5 minutes after ordering, I forget exacly what I ordered, some chicken plate or whatever. Anyway they came with some dinner rolls, and I wasnt even going to eat them, assuming they were like a Thomas or some other pre made brand. Then the waitress told me they were homemade, and looked at me like she wanted me to bite into it, so I did, and let me tell you this is THE BEST PEACE OF BREAD I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! Its fluffy, and stretchy and tender and warm and hmhmhmmmm. YUM! Very affordable for a family of 5, all with soups, apps, main coarse and desert only 35 bucks. waitress was nice so left a 10 buck tip, Also another thing is I got french fries and being a local its not offen I see baked french fries, and usualy when im done eating anywhere that "tourists" go theres grease on everything, NOT HERE! Also well kept, and discounts...

Got there with a group of friends and immediately got stares. Maybe it was because we were the only POC in there. As we were waiting for our food to come out, our friends decided to take one of the small smuckers jelly packets in the condiment tray to try and one of the waitresses came over and gave us a rude look and mumbled ‘are you serious?.’ We were flustered by the remark as we were just chatting among ourselves and did nothing wrong. When our food was served by another waitress, she asked if she can take away the smuckers packets. We were just confused as we were not touching and opening any of the condiments on the table. The whole eating experience was ruined by the rude attitude of the waitresses. We still ended up tipping fairly but at the end of the day, the service was terrible and the food...
