Ordered a large chicken club for my daughter yesterday. Added avacado per her request. She just had a baby one week ago and was craving the sandwich she loves. Got it home and took a bite and said, did you pay for avacado? Yes I did and paid for it. No avacado on the sandwich at all. Took a couple more bites and said no more. We threw more than half the sandwich away. Sad a sandwich shop cannot get things correct. Especially when it’s on the receipt for them to read! Called last night and spoke with the manager on. She quickly found our order. Worked out where I came back today. Was expecting a sandwich that I actually ordered and paid for. Their response? Would you like a side order of avacado to take with you? Or a refund? Not good when it comes to service at all. She gave me $2.00 even and said sorry again. This place has delicious food and friendly people for a decent price! Unfortunately, every time we have tried it, something in our order is incorrect. The first time they were extremely busy, so we thought nothing of it because mistakes are bound to happen with that level of chaos, we didn’t mind. We had three meals that time, as each of them had something wrong. The second time, we were the only party there when we ordered and only one of the 3 was wrong, but missing an item that was requested and the other two orders had. Finally, on the third visit, both orders were wrong, yet again. It is disappointing to keep experiencing this in a place that has such refreshing, flavorful food, and where the people are welcoming. So I like to buy my employees food when I can. I own an aquarium wholesale business in Chicago and was looking to expand operations into California. Anyways my employee and I were here to get some sandwiches at the recommendation of one of my friends and I overheard one of the managers, Sergio, call my employee the N word upon seeing her. It's not like he was black and said it. No he looked at her and I overheard him calling her the n word with the hard ER and something about them not tipping.
