Lifeguard Hut Tower 37 — Attraction in Carlsbad

Parking almost non existant... mind you it was a Sunday... nice day lots of people it was just a point of delay to find a spot. Stairs at 37 not wheelchair ramp at 37. More like 35 by the restrooms, I used the ramp there cause I had a stroller.

Restrooms on either side of 37.... not at 37. Not terribly far but a little far... I was at least thankful there was some restrooms at 35.

Dredging plays a part in my review as this section is mid closure directly on the beach so a huge area of the sand is closed to beach goers as of 3/23/25.

The beach was clean, restrooms clean, walkways clean. Minor dog mess compared to some other walkways but present unfortunately...

Lifeguards on duty

I prefer another bit of beach for spending the day on the sand & in the water but a good place to walk along the seawall in my opinion... very nice...

Very nice beach. Everyone was friendly and the entire area seems super safe. We walked up and down the path at many different times of the day and night and only encountered cool people. It's not hard determining who's a local and who isn't. Try not to stand out of you're visiting from somewhere else, learn etiquette and the beach will continue to be great. If you would like to be rowdy and loud, PB would be...
