A bit disappointed with second cake. Well the first cake well made with fondant. Although the kids says a bit too sweet but the cake soft and good. The second cake though very dissapointed. I told them to have a little bit of the rasberry or strawberry jam in the middle of the cake. But instead they put the frosting middle and top mixed with strawberry and the cake was pink. Not what asked to make. The frosting too sweet. I am a little bit disappointed with this cake. Not what I expected and have to pay that kind of cake that I could get half price in other store. I just want to support small business that's why I came here instead of bigger store or shop. Respond: The cake charged $68.90 not $23 as you said. I requested outside of the cake white and yellow and never asked pink. But I asked if can put strawberry flavor in the middle of the layer. Not in buttercream. I only made 2 calls and few texts. Not 20 calls and texts. To be honest from the kids and teacher complained. They got to removed the buttercream since a bit too sweet. But they loved the cake only.

in previous years, this bakery was my favorite. this year, they’re closed on the 29th (my birthday) so i was willing to celebrate early and pick up the cake on the 24th JUST because i love their cakes so much, and even ordered it 2 weeks early.

but instead, their hours changed with no notice until 20 minutes before closing. even the form when i ordered said nothing about this, and neither did the confirmation email or receipt. i didn’t have the time to get there after receiving the phone call 20 MINUTES BEFORE, but i drove there as fast as i could and arrived minutes later, but the bakery was already empty and the lights off. the bakery is now closed for 2 weeks.

if i was the owner of a cake shop and made a cake that said happy 23rd birthday, i could never scramble out the door and leave for two weeks.

I was a regular for years at this bakery. Once the current owners took over my experience was not good. The cupcakes, cakes and cookies were stale and dry on multiple occasions. I kept going back to see if they were better but continued buying poor quality goods. One thanksgiving I purchased a pumpkin pie and it was dry and tasteless that I took it back, which I never do. The lady behind counters response was to give me another poor quality pie. I had purchased my cakes and pies for years there and they were always I quality. The last time I went in I asked the lady helping me which dessert was freshest. She responded “all of them are. They’re all made today “. Maybe that was true but I bought a cupcake and was usual dry and tasteless. Even the frosting was stiff on cupcake. I have stopped going.
